Any comments/criticisms of the British Top 30 P4P list are very welcome.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
I am sure the question has been asked a million times but why continue to put Andy Lee in your British Top 30?

Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
Decent list. Lots of fights coming up in the next few months involving these fighters, will be interesting to see how the outcomes affect these rankings.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
Mitchell should be top 20 never mind top 30 IMO. Hopefully he will prove that on the 30th.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
Not sure how Derry can push Mitchell off the list given how scraped through his last fight.
Also, where's Callum Smith? He won practically every round vs a solid Euro level opponent in his last fight, which is more than Frankie Gavin, Ricky Burns, Nathan Cleverly and even his big brother have managed recently.

It's been asked a lot of times.macaca wrote:I am sure the question has been asked a million times but why continue to put Andy Lee in your British Top 30?
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
How much better than Martinez is Porter? If Brook beats Gavin well this month then he might take back the No. 2 spot.los2 wrote:brooks win in usa over porter is better then beating kiko and ducking quigg..............froch wouldnt fight degale............has he retired???????????
Froch hasn't retired.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
Very interesting. A lot of 50-50ish fights this month.Boxerbeetle wrote:Decent list. Lots of fights coming up in the next few months involving these fighters, will be interesting to see how the outcomes affect these rankings.
It's sad that Hearn thinks giving us fights were the outcome is not obvious is a PPV concept, but that's the way things seem to be going.

I don't like his choice of opponents since the Burns loss almost 3 years ago. I haven't been impressed with him.danamba7 wrote:Mitchell should be top 20 never mind top 30 IMO. Hopefully he will prove that on the 30th.

Mathews won against a fairly decent opponent for the WBA interim title so he re-entered.keirw wrote:Not sure how Derry can push Mitchell off the list given how scraped through his last fight.

Callum Smith's last fight was over 5 months ago and his opponent was nothing special, although Smith did enter the rankings for beating him. Smith's record is not good enough to stay in the rankings for long if he is inactive.
Those other fighters you mention have better records than Callum and have longer to get another decent result than Callum had.

Winning away from home is not worth a great deal more than winning at home.los2 wrote:brook beat a undefeated american in usa...........frampton in his hometown beat a guy who lost to rendall munroe ...........
I don't think that it is clear that Porter is better than Martinez P4P and Frampton has a better overall record than Brook.

not for a few days but he aint fighting...............brook is no.1.....................Horse wrote:How much better than Martinez is Porter? If Froch retires then maybe Brook will be No. 1 next month.los2 wrote:not for a few days but he aint fighting...............brook is no.1.....................

Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
Porter was far better than Martinez.....Jamie Mc should now be top 10 definitely above Groves
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
I'd have Frampton at Nuber 1

Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
Porter was nowhere near as proven. He was riding a wave of Adulation after his wins against Paulie and Devon, righlty so, but Martinez was going through a period of his own high form, one i consider to be better than Paulie and Devon.Switch hitter wrote:Porter was far better than Martinez.....Jamie Mc should now be top 10 definitely above Groves
I also dont buy into the fact that Winning away from home means much, losing a robbery maybe, but winning away from home should have no bearing (especially when a lot of these guys are used to fighting away after good amateur careers)
McDonnell should be top 5 after his win (one i completely writ him off in may i add) , Ceja, Hall and Kameda are not that far behind Frampton and Brooks best wins.
Re: British Top 30 P4P May 2015
Winning away from home means absolutely nothing. Has Mayweather won away from the US?
It's two blokes in a ring, doesn't matter if it's in Middlesbrough or Mars.

Porter was unbeaten unlike Kiko who had lost 3 times to the bin manYes We Can wrote:Porter was nowhere near as proven.
