No way he said that!

This recent?

If it is, it is definitely a shock.

Jim being objective for once.

Well Teddy Atlas just picked Pacquiao.
That means it is a guaranteed victory for Floyd. Atlas is
Always wrong

Teddy is not always wrong.

And his take about why he thinks Manny will win is actually not bad.

It could happen if Floyd doesn't punch enough or with enough force.

The flaw in Teddy's thinking is, of course, that he doesn't take into account why Floyd doesn't punch a lot.

Part of it is what he says, Floyd doesn't take chances.

But the other part is that a lot of Floyd's opponents get stung and then cover up.

My feeling is, this fight, if Floyd sees more than one counter available, he will punch more in combination.

Best way to stop Manny from countering counters is to have him eating a second or third punch.

So true, so is Mike Tyson on Floyd's fights, he picked Corrales to win by KO.

...is there anything wrong with me considering I don't give a damn as to which expert says what prior to the fight? :witzend:

Tyson loves fighters with latin heritage.

It's funny almost all experts are picking Floyd as most here are.

Were all expecting another boring ass 12 rd decision for Floyd. But how shocking will it be if he actually stops Manny, who at some point in the fight will wreckless and might get caught hard coming it.

Dont get em confused pal.

There's a huge difference between fascinating and real entertainment.

The purist respect the technical aspect of the game and enjoy it but if it was just about that then we could just stick to amateur boxing.

At the end of the day this is prize fighting you need a mixture of both technical skill with entertainment.
Thats what most of the fans want and expect but sadly enough if/when Floyd starts his pot shotting and coasts to a decision win the fans and media will be left with a "what the fuuck did i just pay for" expression.

If i were a big PBF fan, i'd bet all my money on Pac. Either your boy wins, or you get rich...

Honestly, i am a fan of both, i am fan of boxing. May the better man win! If i had to bet, i'd bet on Pacquiao UD/MD/SD though.

IMO the better the boxer fighters are, the less they seem to know

I don't know why that is but time and again I've listened to ex champs, guys that dominated the sport for years, real class acts and they say something about a match up and I'm like :o

Seems to me the lesser fighters, fringe contenders and the good honest pros know the sport the best, apart from us armchair fans of course

Maybe the better bigger name you become then the less your ego will allow you to watch the sport,I bet Mayweather never heard of Brook
