I think people need to look at the pattern of behaviour Graham displayed in recent years trying for come backs desperate for money.
He was like many before him searching for something he had lost ie his career/life.
He also hails from a tough part of London were the rents and living costs are massive where you fight your way out or like many turn to 'crime' which on that manner moving a bit of powder is as normal a thing as moving second hand cars.

Graham is a victim of the harsh reality that is boxing draws you in chews you up and in most cases spits you out.
If he had topped himself we would all be saddened I believe we should be saddened by his imprisonment.

We all make mistakes and some us pay and some of us dont he was a game as fella who wasn't the sharpest tool in the box I'm sure he was ideal as a stash house or foot soldier I would be amazed if he was the master mind given the hammer he took in his career.

Would he not of made some decent ££ in his career ?

Probably made good money while he was fighting and from his first fight with Bobby Vanzie to fighting Khan I think he would have been a full time pro. But he won't have made anywhere near enough to retire off and when he retired he needed to find another way of earning, promoted a few shows, tried managing and training fighters and eventually made a comeback. At some point he will have fallen into dealing as a way of paying the bills.

i remember reading a piece in the north east in which Dave Garside the promoter basically said that it was a hobby and that every time he put on a show (small hall) it cost him money. So, as an earner, after the lads have been paid for their evening's work, he (Earl) wouldn't have been looking at much, if anything. Not unless a Carl Froch or somebody walks through your door.
A a poor do though when you think "ah - that's the best idea, i'll sell some of this".
