According to the post-fight press conference, Floyd Mayweather will be vacating the following belts on Monday:
• WBC & WBA “super” world light middleweight championships
• WBO, WBC & WBA “super” world welterweight titles

That’s five belts that are up for grabs, which begs the obvious questions:
• Who’s going to challenge for the vacant titles? Al Haymon's PBC guys?
• Is Floyd retiring or will his so-called “final” bout be for Al Haymon’s PBC world title, which would give that company some prestige?

By the way, Manny claims he doesn't want to make excuses for his poor performance, but his team have constantly laboured over the fact that he had a shoulder injury. Pacquiao also maintains that he thought he won the fight!

I don't know who is going to get the belts but I am very glad to see Floyd is shutting out all of the abc orgs.

According to Manny Pacquiao, he claims his team asked the NSAC for an exemption for him to take some sort of shot for the injured shoulder, but were subsequently denied.

However, contradictory to this claim, the NSAC chairman said that his organisation wasn't told of Manny's injury.

So what's going on?

They are simply LYING!! This is exactly what I expected of Roach and especially of Manny's fans, they will look for any BS reason (or INVENT one, as they have done here) to give an EXCUSE for Pacquiao outright LOSING this fight.

I thought Pacquiao could do better, and i've been pretty disappointed. What is shocking to me, is how he behaves... from humble guy, to sore loser? Its not Mayweathers fault if he had a injury, and the first two rounds weren't better than the others. He talked about running like everyone else did. Why didn't he knock him out? Or outland him? I agree that it does happen to Rigo and Ward as well but that's because we have a bunch of action junkies here who cannot appreciate the execution of the art at its' highest level and form (the way Mayweather, Rigondeaux and Ward fight).

Manny had mission impossible in his plan because he was under the impression that he could outbox Floyd and that just wasn't happening.

I'm sure we will see more than the shoulder injury BS as an excuse as time rolls on but no version of Manny be it 2009, 2010 or now would ever beat Floyd.

If Floyd is retiring after one more fight then he doesn't really need to keep all the belts, unless he would fight Kell Brook to unify the Welterweight Division.
