Came across these on the telegraph site, not sure if it says something about telegraph readers but looking at these I felt maybe I'm in a parallel universe or something and saw a completely different fight. Pac won maybe 3 rounds if you're being generous.
I am glad to see that others saw the fight and the horrendous decision the way I did. Manny Pacquiao so clearly dominated all of the early rounds that by the end of the 7th round, I felt certain that Mayweather would need to score a KO to win.
I think it's pretty obvious who should've won when the decision comes through and an entire packed PUB boos
This is truly the worst match ever...first match I watched full and probably the last one...terrible fight where FM was defensive MP deserved the win... Want a rematch... No fair results!!
I can't see how this is good for boxing. The experts speak of genius masterful boxing, but the paying layman sees a man running for 12 rounds with minumum output.
The most bizarre reaction to the fight was Pac mans. Delusional to think he won more than 4 rounds, first he says he won, the he says he's injured blah blah blah trying to take away from mayweathers decent second gear performance
I had it a lot closer but Mayweather winning 115-113. To be honest Mayweather got his tactics spot on widen his stance to make the shorter southpaw commit and fire the back hand. That allowed him to establish the jab. When Mayweeather squared up Pac man got success. The cleaner punches in the fight did come from pac man and he did throw more punches put Floyd was very clever spoiling from the first bell. He knew the ref wasn't even going to warn him. Mayweather deserves all the credit for a great performance it's just a shame that he has to stack the cards against his opponents to make sure he wins. I think he could of beat Manny comfortably just by sticking to his gameplan. If you are truly the greatest you fight anywhere and don't need to give yourself all the advantages for that reason I would not have Floyd in my top 5 greats.

Defense constitutes 1/4 scoring criteria. Floyd was elusive as ever but offensively offered next to nithing. He is now officially Hopkins. I had a simikar card to Dan Rafael with the scores tied after 8. Floyd took the championship rounds. 9 & 10 I'm hard pressed giving to Floyd. There really was no winners last night other than some cheque books of those involved.

Mayweather landed more power shots though so i don't get your argument.
Mayweather was superior in every department and statistically.
Some times stats are not that accurate. Describe power punches?? I didn't see any power punches by Mayweather. A nice jab and a couple of back hand rights. Whereas Manny was the one with the cleaner shots. Most shots by both hit gloves and this air. Terrible fight for boxing. Mayweather won but will never be a all time great. If he fought Khan at Wembley with no demands an even fight then I will give him credit. That won't happen fight will be in Vegas with his mate as a referee and judges.

Fighting khan won't do anything for his legacy. Mayweather doesn't need him one bit. The only reason we hear khan constantly linked with him is because he is British. Hatton was recognised as the no1 lww and brought millions to the table.
