Hmmm i had it to Floyd by 2. Neither guy really took the initiative.
Awful postfight interview with Manny however. Disrespectful in the extreme

I watched it in a pub surrounded by a bunch of imbeciles. One Imbo actually asked me what nationality Pac was  I had Floyd winning
but i thought it was closer than the judges scored. Another imbo informed me Korolov would beat both of them. :witzend:

I thought someone had spiked my beer when the first score announced was 118-110. But we all tend to score fights differently - even judges.

I'll have another look at the fight less the good company and beer of this afternoon.

Thought two of the judges got it right.
8 rounds to Floyd and 4 rounds to Manny.

I thought 116-112 was about right. 8 rounds to 4. Some pretty close rounds that could have gone either way but I think Floyd landed the cleaner shots to edge the close ones. Too smart.

70-year old judge Maretti was obviously overcomed by his paypacket & lost concentration.

I had it 117-111 Floyd. Could have easily had it 116-112 or 118-110.
Floyd really controlled the fight.

I rewatch the Fight
My scorecard did change
115 - 113 for floyd
In saying that there were a couple of rounds that show that it could have gone eitherway
and i personally dont believe in 10 - 10 rounds
so my earlier score with manny winning is still valid do to the rounds on how close it was
but my current opinion Floyd won

At best for Manny it was Floyd winning 116 - 112. I had it 117 - 111

When I told my brother I had it 114/114 a draw his response was that he thought I knew boxing :?? he said Pacquiao was allways behind
he watched the fight with a prominent Aussie Boxing judge/referee [who I won't name]and they both scored the fight 116/112 for Mayweather
and I do respect my brothers and our friends opinion who do know boxing :box:

On Fox Sport's after the fight respected Aussie boxing Expert Paul Upham score card was also 116/112 for Mayweather this translates
to 8 round's 4 I don't have a problem with 116/112 for Mayweather I can see how you could easily come up with that score
My eldest son who has been in the ring had it 115/114 Mayweather no problem BUT 118/110 or 10 round's 2 come on
Mayweather runs for most of the 12th round so you cannot possibly give him that round :witzend: my point being this there is allways
one bad egg so somewhere along the line he Pacquiao won 1 round besides that last one PLEASE..............

Back to our boxing expert MR PAUL UPHAM on Fox Sports News last night and I'll QUOTE him ''ROUND'S 4 AND 6 ONLY ROUND'S PACQUIAO WON
CONVINCINGLY, ROUND'S 9 AND 10 WERE PRETTY CLOSE [HAVE A GUESS WHO HE GAVE ROUND'S 9 AND 10 TO]
APART FROM THAT IT WAS ALL MAYWEATHER'' HE SAID SO UPHAMS SCORE CARD WAS 116/112...[IN UPHAMS WORD'S] REMEMBER THE PRETTY CLOSE ROUND'S 9/10 IF SOMEHOW IN HIS HEART HE GIVE'S THE PRETTY CLOSE ROUND'S 9 AND 10 TO PACQUIAO HIS SCORE IS THE SAME AS MINE 114/114.
SO FOR SOME-ONE TO STATE IT WAS ALL MAYWEATHER SEEMS PREETY ODD AFTER HEARING WHAT HE SAID.....I THOUGHT UPHAM WAS A EXPERT :DD

Your Upham explanation doesn't make sense......... if Upham gave Manny 9 and 10 in your theory, what 2 other rds did he score it Manny besides the 4 and 6th rd for him to have it 114-114?????

Fight was Sale of the century not Fight of the century

I think the fight/show should be investigated by Consumer Affairs, if such exists in US.
IMO, 250million purse was vastly exaggerated so it could be tagged "Fight of the Century" = Marketing ploy.

Floyd won very comfortably. Pacman won 4 rds at most. I thought the 3 scorecards were very reasonable.

The people complaining about the "fight of the century" are clearly not boxing fans. What did they expect, Hearns-Hagler. Have they never seen Floyd fight before. If they want to have a whinge then they should direct that at Pacquaio because HE is the one who needed to throw volume and force the action but he didn't and/or couldn't. No controversy whatsoever Floyd CLEAR winner. :TU:

Yes we got there in the end brother..........................................It's just my opinion I really find 118/110 ridiculous
and please don't get me wrong i'v trained some amateur's boxer's and our training method's are to be a boxer's use your jab have good balance get on your toe's if you have the reach don't give it up unless forced to by your opponent etc..etc..etc..etc hit and don't get hit that's the name of the game in my book, but to run come on you know what Mayweather could have won a thriller but he chose to take the road he took :shame:

No doubt the chief sparring partner of a former MW trinket holder :OhYes:

I truly believe anyone who gave that fight to PacMan should stop watching boxing immediately and take up another interest in their spare time.

The problem we have is
1. Anyone from the Philippines or is phillipino will say Pac one regardless, they would even dispute a KO loss
2. Leftwing socialist who hate Mayweather because he is flamboyant and gave his misses a clip scored it a win for Pac

Manny's problem is actually right wing related:

Pacquiao will have shoulder surgery to repair a "significant tear" in his right rotator cuff, according to ESPN. Pacquiao sustained the injury while training before his May 2 fight in Las Vegas.

Post fight, Pacquiao said he aggravated the shoulder injury during the 3rd round. His doctor, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, told ESPN on Monday that Pacquiao would need surgery and will miss 9 to 12 months.
