It was the end of an era, not the end of the sport. The new wave of fighters are already coming through and at Super sonic speed with the likes of Inoue, Gonzalez, Lomachenko, Tanaka, Estrada, Frampton, Khytrov, Usyk, Ken Shiro, Crawford, Alvaeez etc. The sport appears to need a new "star" but the talent is there and even guys getting on a bit, Kovalev and GGG for example, have years left at the top.
It's a shame M Garcia and Ward have wasted the last few years of their careers though.
