Am I the only one who enjoyed the fight?

I thought it was a great exhibition of skill. It isn't Floyd's job to give him a free hit, if pacman couldn't make the fight the way he wanted to, thats his own shortcoming, when all's said and done. i'll hold my hands up to being a paid-up member of the 'should have been years ago' crowd but treating it as an event in its own right, it was a good win, Floyd controlled the pace, like he does against every opponent, he finds a way to demoralise them and slow them up.

Having been listening to my mates and other negative comments on social media, I was wondering did anybody enjoy the fight? I know it was billed as the 'fight of the century' and I think a lot of people got taken in by all the hype, and some of my mates who are only casual fans thought it was going to be a slugfest.
I myself enjoyed it, although not the fight of the century it was as we know the 'richest fight ever' I agree with lots of people saying it should of happened 4 or 5 years ago, but it didnt, a lot of people are moaning also because they wanted Manny to win, and are calling Floyd a runner, have they never watch him before?
Floyd is the best at what he does, not always the most exciting but the best of his generation, and I dont think he will be properly appreciated till he has retired.
I thought Floyd boxed as I and many others thought he would and stuck to a gameplan, he won clearly for me, manny was just not busy enough, and Floyd landed the cleaner shots and boxed smart.
Yes it was not a 'Classic' but to me I was glad to see 2 of the best boxers of this era fight each other, evan if it should of happened sooner.

Did I enjoy it? Yes. Could it live up to six years worth of hype? No.

It was alright. Wouldn't care if they didn't have a rematch.

It was good because of the reps of the two gents in the ring. But it was boxing's equivalent of catenaccio. An awful spectacle.

Respecting a fighter's ability and recognizing that they fight extremely skillfully doesn't mean that someone finds their bouts enjoyable . Floyd displayed great boxing skills but I wouldn't say that I enjoyed the bout, as it lacked the requisite competitiveness and action.

Had a distinct whiff of Leonard-Duran III going in and played out pretty much the same. It was definitely more competitive than that fight but the clear favourite should have pushed harder...

I thought Leonard boxed well that night actually, I was impressed the way he was able to stay on his toes for 12 rounds, Duran was crap though,TBH if it wasn't for the whole "No Mas" incident in the second fight then that fight probably would have followed that same pattern instead of being one of the most famous fights of all time

Yeah definitely money. Wasn't Steve Wynn heavily involved in this? He wanted a show piece to open up the Mirage Hotel. Duran was off the back of quite a few victories and held the WBC belt, so was an easy/obvious fight to make. Apparently Wynn tried to take over the promotion, which apparently went horribly and they lost a few quid.
