Former WBA welterweight champion Andrew “Six Heads” Lewis has tragically been killed in an traffic accident in his native Guyana. Details are sketchy, but Lewis was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle. He was declared dead twice at two different hospitals.

A big punching fan favorite who had a pro record of 23-4-2, 20 KOs, Lewis got his unusual nickname when an opponent said Lewis had hit him so hard he saw six heads. Lewis was just 44.

Tragic, he was still a young man - hope his family can cope without him and RIP, my only memory is of Margarito blasting him and he may have used the dodgy handwraps in that one too.

I'm sure Margo did cheat, just as sure as I am when he fought Lujan and tore his ear off.

Wow, I'd forgotten about Lujan - injuries like that do not happen very often.
