Selfie on the way to the ring?
That's bad enough, but then I find out that Samsung paid for it, like they did for Ellen's Oscar selfie and Ortiz's "Obama" selfie.
Anyway, way to get your fighter off his game for an awkward photo, Freddie.

Selfies are generally stupid.Joe Boxer wrote:Selfie on the way to the ring?

If you are going to get paid big bucks for it, go for it. You'd be an idiot not to.
And if that's all it takes to get your fighter "off his game", then there are much bigger problems than selfies.

It should be apparently obvious that Freddie had no gameplan just as Robert Garcia stated.Joe Boxer wrote:Selfie on the way to the ring?

Haha, seriously. I've heard it all now !!! If Manny was injured I'm sure that was more likely to put him off his game than a selfie.Joe Boxer wrote:Selfie on the way to the ring?

Re: F'n Selfie
Fine, sorry.
Not "off his game". But, breaking his concentration anyway. A fighter can tune a lot out, but when your trainer makes you stop and take a lame selfie, it would be a little bit of a buzzkill. It was for me, and I wasn't even fighting!
Anyway, obviously I didn't mean that it caused him to lose. It was just a stupid annoyance.

Re: F'n Selfie
Doing a selfie while on the way to the ring tells me right away the mind is not focused and prepared like it should be.
I wonder how he could even lift his arm to take his own picture like he did?
