o.f. throwing piston uppercuts on the inside but not really landing.
burns is teeing off on him, though, and landed every significant punch
of the round. o.f. wild with his head, also. looks like burns is letting omar
punch so he he can tee off on him as soon as he is done punching.
i have 3-1 burns

Fighting in a phone boot indeed. Ref is spoiling what could be a great fight. 3-1 for Ricky.

vurtually every warning in the fight so far has been directed at burns,
despite o.f. rushing in head first like a ram. all the good clean shots
are from burns, and all o.f. punches are blocked and wild but the crowd
yells a lot so i'm betting the ref and judges are going to screw burns
out of some of these rounds. i have burns up 4-1

Figueroa has a volume inside. I think Ricky is better stay outside more.

3-2 Burns IMO, but I dont doubt the US jusdges will have it the other way around based on who is coming forward. Fig is limited, just a matter of who can last. Though Belmontes outboxed him for large swathes too, but that obviously didnt work out...

Cant see burns getting the close rounds on the cards. Not the type of fight you want to be the away fighter in, especially when the referee is clearly on the payroll.

Great effort by burns so far

Omar is trading on youth, energy and aggression, there's not much special from him but it's high energy, Ricky backed against the ropes.

Oh dear, what an action fight. Figueroa has no defense whatsoever. If Ricky had more power Figueroa would be KOed by now. 4-2 Burns.

What is this ref playing at?? He grabs hold, he lets go, he shouts something then changes his mind. He looks like a complete amateur.

Whatever happens here, it's great to see Ricky putting in a performance and prove he is anything but 'shot'

Frustrating fight to watch. Burns is winning it for me. Figawanka is not a boxer, he's a mess.
