Bringing Frankie Gavin in the ring to talk about the PPV was similar to when they used to do the whole 'and heres what you could have won' on bullseye. Only this should have been 'and heres what most of you actually paid to watch'.

Most of the other fights where over that quuickly that I don't really feel I watched them, never really got into them.

Won't be rushing to buy a ticket for a Matchroom show again. The return of boxing to Birmingham they called it! What a joke.

stick to the small hall shows mate. Normally a couple 50-50 fights then the kids coming thru against the tough journeyman who can take a shot and try to fire back. Saturdays show was a disgrace. Chuffed for sam eggington his progressing nicely like the idea of the foot fight next.

Would love to see that next. Thought there might be a big fight brewing in Brum after Gavin loses to Brook but by the looks of it Eggington could do with at least another 18 months of development before he's ready for that.

Yeah mate definitely, I usually like to think I'm quite shrewd at picking what bills I go to and usually pick well whether its small hjall or bigger shows (like to mix it up). Just went to early with this one (Gavin v Van Heerden was a decent match).

Yeah was nice to see Sam pick up the commonwealth only reason I kept my ticket in the end. Him v Foot would be good next yeah, I just hope they don't rush Eggington, watched the fight back yesterday and thought the commentary was a bit harsh he did what needed to be done and beat what was infront of him comfortably, people forget hes still really young.

Hate the crowd at these Matchroom shows too, idiots who don't know fornicate all about boxing other than what Sky feed them.
