He wasn't able to do it against Lara or Mayweather. He handled Kirkland easily.
Of course not. I assumed you were talking about a fighter that pressured him like Kirkland did, but was faster.

You put Kirkland in front of Mayweather, and you are getting a 12 round decision.

I'm sorry that your god, money, makes you think otherwise. Because if you could separate money from the action, you would be able to see things a different way ... but you probably can't because $ is omnipresent in your mind.
You sound like a straight idiot with your "god your money" line.

You couldn't be any more wrong pal.

You just got your panties in a bunch cuz the media bashed the fuuck out of last weeks joke of a fight yet are are giving props to canelo/Kirkland.

More than likely but we're also getting a one-sided 12 round decision.

I agree. And therein lies the difference between an exciting fight and a boring fight. It was evident from the get go that Canelo was the superior boxer, however, he was looking for a stoppage, not a points victory. And what did he say at the end.... he wanted to give the fans a good fight. It's not rocket science in understanding why people like combat sports, and what they ultimately look for when watching it.

We all know that Floyd isn't a natural Jr MW, the weight advantage and non-brittle hands like Mayweather has enabled Canelo to be a more effective puncher, Money isn't and never has been a KO fighter nor the type of fighter that goes in looking for the KO so it is not to be expected whenever he faces anyone, especially someone like James Kirkland who is far bigger than him.

Sorry Alvarez/ Kirkland is Boxing

Anyone saying this defensive grab and jab crap you've been fed over the last decade is what real boxing is, you're fooling yourselves

Sports evolve all the time, usually fads- hell just look at team sports when something comes in and changes things

Football- west coast offense, dual threat qb, etc etc
Baseball has changed so much I don't even watch anymore, steroids and homers changed the game

The Floyd , wlad, Bernard, ward. With the fouling and excessive holding is not boxing. Sorry- in generations past they would have been DQd.

When is that last time anyone has seen a DQ for holding? I haven't in long time.

If Kirkland vs Canelo is an example of what "real boxing" is all about, I will very soon stop being a fan of the sport.

That fight was awful, though I guess a casual fan would enjoy the blood.

Folks will be doing film analysis on Pac/Mayweather for years to come.

No one (except maybe Canelo's next opponent) will be studying what Canelo did to Kirkland.

I'm lost. I picked Floyd to win116-112 and I scored fight 7-4-1 in favor of Floyd

Wasn't the least bit upset

Yeah I guess what made Tyson such a huge star wasn't his Kos. But his grabbing

Not a fan of RJJ but besides being great at defense and fast. The guy could also KD and KO people. Instead of grabbing and running

Whenever I look at one of your stupid posts I feel the saltiness. Manny LOST and you cannot accept it. Floyd didn't run, he outboxed Manny easily.

Why don't you admit that Manny is too stupid to cut off the ring?

I've also been on record saying the same. Manny fought rios very cautiously

But the difference being Floyd wasn't ktfo in his previous fight

Floyd runs for who knows what reason, he's like Forrest gump. He's been running so long, he can't remember why

Nice line of excuses but I noticed how you soft shoed the response on Manny running from Rios.

Impractical Poster is just a flat out duckTARD, he ran from my response just as Packy has been running from Mayweather for 5 years.
