If you was a boxer could you sit down in front of her/him and agree terms for a promotional contract and take her/him seriously ?

It would probbaly be good for your career as it would bring press coverage

You'd have to be a bit of a bellend not to be able to IMO. She's one of the highest profile promoters out there with a wealth of experience at the top level of boxing. Speaking purely on a business level, Frank's career seemed to be fizzling out towards the end - Kellie has definitely breathed more life into it with the non-boxing media.

I agree. She more than likely won't be getting any phone calls from any big names but if she can help push guys on who are just starting out then why not. Lots of contacts and as you say media coverage could be a good thing (although I imagine the boxers will be secondary in the medias coverage).

On the other hands hasn't Maloney retired from boxing promoting half a dozen times?

I couldnt take him/her/it seriously.
The recent story of Frank Maloney has all the signs of someone on a mental breakdown, would I trust someone going through all that nonsense to make big decisions regarding my career, health and reputation?

Not a chance.

Maloney lost ALL credibility years ago, NOT because of the gender change but this:

If my career was on the slide,i was struggling to get fights, and i'd been photographed snorting m-cat of a prostitutes arse after my latest televised loss then i'd consider it.

If i was getting regular fights and tv coverage elsewere,100% no.

Ha ha, I agree. I think it would be more of a publicity stunt to sign with him to be honest with you. Lets face it, boxing is a gladiatorial sport, there isn't much room for a bloke in drag applying more foundation to his face.

Maloney who called for the world of boxing to shun and fine Haye & Chisora for their luxembourg fight... then supplied David Price as chief analyst in their studio ?

He recently revealed after he had the op it took him two weeks to pluck up the courage to look at his new snatch.

I'm a boxer and I'm going pro this year. Not sure how I'd feel regarding it to be honest. Was never a fan of frank as a man, so not sure on kellie

I love live music :OhYes: .......that went on a little long didn't it? None of these people seemed very professionally choreographed and there's a bloke right at the end that goes towards the ring with another saxophone - was it a spare or did he have second thoughts at the last minute?

Well spotted I never noticed that before. The sax he 'plays' in the ring is an alto and his mate is bringing him a tenor, watching the clip again I reckon the tenor should have appeared sooner but his mate missed his cue

Very well spotted!

The plan was for the saxophonist to play about 1 min of Born in the USA, then change sax & play something with a British theme for 1 min, can't remember what though.

Problem was, the guy in charge of the background music obviously wasn't listening at the production meeting coz he wouldn't fade out Born in the USA. I'm watching the poor sax player, he kept looking over at the sound desk and even waved at him (2:48) to stop the music but just got ignored.

Meanwhile the producer had told me in my earpiece not to let the second sax piece go ahead but to get the drummers on instead. The whole sax bit should have lasted about 2 min total for 2 songs. Felt a bit sorry for the saxophonist.

Just remembered, he played both anthems a little later.
