I like GGG but your spot on right now if GGG is such a monster why not move up a single division and take on guys that are more than willing to face him like Ward or step up and face Lara.
GGG team are acting like hes as accomplished as Floyd and manny and has earned the right to pick and choose as he pleases. Not the case shiit Canelo who's still a baby compared to GGG has already faced far better comp.
Hopefully after GGG beats Monroe this weekend his team will stop doing him harm and try n make a fight with a real top fighter.
Also GGG is no spring chicken he better start stepping it up soon.
Lara is more than willing.
Very well stated yourself. This is all I'm saying. I'm not against Triple G but I just think people are overrating him based on him doing what was expected of him in knocking out less than stellar competition, dude hasn't done anything to warrant a shot at Manny or Floyd.
I'd love to see what he could do against Lara, if El Perro was able to cut off the ring against Erislandy and land then so should GGG who I think if he does land that it may result in a KO.
Ikey takes it as we hate or dislike GGG when all we are doing is shining light on the truth about him. I have nothing against the young man, I feel he is a great ambassador for the sport and is very likeable but he just hasn't done anything big yet (some of that is due to no fault of his own, the cowards at 160 won't face him) but the other part is him not willing to move up and face the best but has the willingness to readily move down ONLY for a fight with Floyd while bypassing Lara who has called him out in the media.
He won't get a pass from me to face Floyd until he either beats Lara or moves up and beats a guy like Ward, Kovalev, BB because even if he does face Mayweather at 152 or 154 and should he lose then all we will hear is how Floyd cherrypicked him and beat him because he was weight drained.
