I remember Steve Bunce saying a few weeks ago that Khan's Dad was upset with the way Eddie Hearn and Kell Brook have conducted themselves in recent weeks by calling out Khan in public. He feels they've been disrespectful and shown a lack of class, and allegedly suggested their behaviour means Khan might never take the fight. Has Khan, or his Dad, taken the hump and walked away from SKY? They did it before when the fight against McCloskey ended up on Primetime. Anyone know anything? Maybe SKY have been too busy pushing the Mayweather / Pacman PPV and haven't got round to announcing the Khan fight yet.
Khan seems to be talking his career into a corner now. If he wanted to build any case for a fight with Mayweather, then something more high profile than Algieri would have been needed. treading water is a mistake - there are other candidates for Floyd that are more attractive right now.

Khan is definitely receding from the public's mind as an elite level competitor, and this will do nothing to reverse that trend.

They are said to be in negotiations however Spike posted this on their Facebook page 2 days ago when being quizzed from Virgin Media customers:

"Sorry - no further updates on Virgin yet"

Virgin are notorious for holding out to get the best deal possible. Could be a while yet :witzend:

This is pretty good for Virgin Media rumours and gossip, in regards to new channel launches:

Hahahah - I remember years ago when I was still writing about boxing, I was sat at a show talking about our friend Frank - and I used the word 'Allegedly' in place of his name - Claude went 'Who?' I then had to explain the whole boxrec thing to him.

Haha, same thing happens to me very often these days - my brain automatically changes anything B0xnati0n or Frank related to 'Allegedly', and I tend to write 'fvck', 'sh!t' or 'pudendum' on my text messages rather than the actual swear words. Stupid Boxrec

Why is allegedly referred to a such on here? Was it something to do with comments made by a few on the forum?

I believe it's to do with certain promoters being highly litigious. :o

Spike have got the Dennis Hobson show with Ross Burkinshaw topping the bill the night after, alternative for anyone that doesn't want to buy the PPV.
