Eubank Jr v Saunders looks far from made yet though. Saunders tweeting that Chris won't give up the interim belt (or Marks and Spencer belt as BJS put it) and BJS will loose his WBO position if he fights for the WBA Interim.

I think I'd rather see BJS and Lee first and let Eubank get some more top level experience. I enjoyed his fight with Chudinov.

Looks a tough fight for Flanagan; Zepeda looks like a real banger but might be tight at the weight. He's never fought at the 135lbs limit. His best win is over fringe 140lbs contender Victor Cayo but that doesn't say too much as Cayo is decent but gets stopped almost every time he steps up to world class.

Andy Lee fought last month. If he can be back by September there really is no need for an Interim match-up for his title.

Unless "need" now means "chance for governing body to sponge a few extra quid in sanctioning fees" of course.

Saunders-Eubank Jr 2 isn't happening it seems, Eubank Jr refusing to give up his plastic WBA belt so the fight can't happen. Probably move it up to Manchester now.

Does Eubank become entitled to a shot at Danny Jacobs because he holds the Interim belt?

I haven't seen Zepeda yet, but he apparently sparred with Mayweather in the latter's preparation for Pac and on paper it looks to be a good match-up. BJS-Eubank doesn't interest me as much as the first fight did and I'd like to see each of them win some more fights before a rematch, though if BJS fought Lee there's a good chance he'd suffer a loss that would deflate another Eubank fight.

I checked out Zepeda and I wasn't disappointed. His record reminded me of Julio Ceja's, but to me he seems like the better of the two. He can fight effectively, at least against the level of opposition he's faced, as a lefty or righty, he varies his attack well to the head and body, and he seems to have heavy hands. He's also got solid speed, though nothing remarkable, and while he doesn't appear to be particularly difficult to hit his defense doesn't look shabby either.

There wasn't a glaring flaw that I noticed and I suspect that he'll as least give Flanagan a tough night. The big question I have about Zepeda is how he'll cope as the bout progresses if it doesn't end early, as he's only been past 6 rounds once and never past 8, though Flanagan has only been past the latter mark thrice in 27 fights and never past 10.
