He defeated Johnny Nelson if you remember - he was going places until he ran into Alexander Gurov which was a shame. He was a very athletic, tall and powerful cruiser. Such a shame at what happened. Enjoyable to watch

That was a horrible KO, I don't think Crawford was ever quite the same after that.

Klementsen suffered a bad KO himself against Peter Oboh:

You cant help being a pudendum can you?

Those snide little digs have no place on a thread where the bloke you are digging out is actually doing something positive and generous towards fellow-posters in sharing these fights

Boxing Tape 111 up in a few hours

Markus Bott v David Bates
Eamonn Loughran v Judas Clottey
Dariusz Michalczewski v Steve McCarthy
Michael Nunn v Victor Corboba
Julio Cesar Chavez v Hector Camacho
Eddy Smulders v John Foreman
I know Steve Mccarthy's brother, Mick, who I believe used to work his corner. Our sons used to play rugby together. I'll have to let him know this is up. You might also remember him for the time he was doing Tony Wilson over so badly that his mum attacked him and beat him over the head with her handbag or shoe. He refused to continue with the contest after that, and lost by DQ!

Some time great stuff here Mimmy, still hoping De Roux vs Sean Murphy will come up. It was a barnstormer, and neither man was ever the same. De Roux, who won after a war worthy of Rocky, never won again.

I have it in my collection however as my fights are from VHS the quality of many fights arent 100% so if you have it on DVD it maybe better for the lads to watcch it on a better quality copy.

He was a pretty tough featherweight who boxed a good few names, not sure if he was an ex kick boxer.

there can't be too many Elvis Parsley's in the world of combat sports so I reckon it's a decent bet!
