The truth is that Broner is a clown and I wish porter would have passed on this fight rather than trying to make 144 and then limit his rehydration. He should have just stayed and WW and waited for his time while fighting other guys. I hope Porter exposes broner for the bitch that he is.
Agreeing to all these demands just shows Porter's disdain for Broner's skills.
I think fighters do it for many reasons including the money of course. Catchweights and rehydration restrictions should be eliminated from all of boxing. Broner should not be dictating the terms of any fight due to the fact that he is a bum.

Brook is a big, tough WW. I don't see him as overrated at all.

Thanks for the correction but I'm not sure if you were born a d*ckheaded asshole or you work at it daily trying to ruin threads like the Troll you are but either way, we're here all discussing boxing with these two individuals and you're the only one who brought up Manny and Floyd.

Stupid MFer.

I don't either. I actually had him beating Brook, though I did think it was close. He might be kind of one-dimensional and run out of ideas a bit at times, I think that's true. But that dimension is tough. I just have a hard time seeing Broner put up well with that pressure, unless he starts throwing a lot more.

After seeing Alexander's non-performance against Khan-job, I don't consider beating him to be that great a feat.

The mighty Maidana couldn't do it

You have to remember that that version of Maidana, at 140 was very unmotivated and ready to quit boxing. He is a much different guy at 147 with Garcia training him. Not disputing the win, but just pointing out the circumstance.

I don't have the hate for Broner that many do. I thought that he showed decent heart in the Maidana fight. Porter appears to have similar (though more acute) limitations to Ramming Speed; lack of power, lack of straight punches, etc. Porter does not have the power to snap as much of the starch out of Broner early like Maidana did. Otoh, Porter has better stamina than Maidana. I think the main question is can Broner hurt Porter enough to at least slow down the onslaught?

Great match making. The fight could go either way, and I would not be surprised by another controversial decision. I have to lean toward Porter by SD that should be a UD.

Couldnt care less how the judges end up scoring it - and it's hilarious that there's not only a catchweight but a 2nd day weigh in. LMAO. That is what Haymon REALLY thinks of Broner against the top guys. He needs hometown, catchweight AND a 2nd day weigh in rehydro clause. F'n ridiculous.
This is the second time that I've seen one of you guys claim that the bout is in Cincinnatti which would apparently favor Broner.

Except for what I read on this thread, my understanding is that the fight takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NOT Cincinnatti.
No real advantage there, so now you Porter supporters can wager on your man without fear that he'll be jobbed by corrupt hometown judges.

Honest Vegas judges will give AB the valid decision that he'll undoubtedly deserve.
