Canelo Alverez will be the box office guy.

Terrence Crawford will probably be the best P4P.

Roman Gonzalez will be in any argument as well.

Naoya Inoue seems a good shout.

I think that they both retired before that glove tapping, dry humping exhibition passed off as a superfight.

3G and GingerHead are the obvious candidates.

If Wilder can avoid The Hitman Shuffle, he will be the biggest thing.

The Hitman Jr. (Terence Crawford) has huge upside potential.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Lomachenko yet, he does need to sit on his shots more though.

As a Brit I am obliged to mention Anthony Joshua, by the end of the year we should have a clear picture of how good he can be. His potential is ridiculous.

I also hear really good things about Felix Verdejo and Errol Spence Jr. but have not seen either fight yet.

I really did think Mikey Garcia had massive potential but this inactivity is not good at all.

Crawford p4p no 1 for me in the future though.

i think it will actually be very exciting. with them
and wladimir gone there is space for new stars
with more exciting styles … with manny of course
being the exception until recently.

GGG, alvarez, wilder seem strong candidates and
all three are exciting.

my expectation is that floyd will miss the attention
terribly and will make news every now and then with
something weird. or he turns out to be a promoter
as talented as oscar. could be, he has the smarts.

anyways i now can't wait until their gone and i fear
for wlad that he won't make it without another loss.
i guess he waited that tick too long and will lose to
wilder.

Saul Alvarez is where the currency is at. He is #3 on boxrec's p4p rankings at age 24, and he's a pretty large attraction. If he continues improving for another few years, he could be either good enough to be p4p #1, or just close to it. But regardless of talent, he is looking to be the #1 ppv attraction in about 3 years time. Cotto is another fighter who has often been a top 5 ppv draw in the world, so if Alvarez actually fights Cotto as he is rumored to do soon, and if he beats Cotto, then his ppv stock will be extremely high. In other words, I'm predicting Saul Alvarez to be the DLH / Mayweather / Pacquiao of the coming era.
