I scored that fight by 1 round to Canzoneri. I think you'd have every right to be more than a little hard done by on the result there. Some of Mayweather's fights (including the first one with Arguello) have had outlandish scorecards, there's no way that he won that fight by three rounds.

Indeed. Alexis won a World Title early on this season, but since then he has really struggled with some of the elite guys this season (Benny Leonard, Henry Armstrong, Barney Ross) and now we can include Duran to that list.

Hopefully he can come back from this, build up a few wins, and get another shot at Roberto Duran. Or maybe squeeze in one more title triumph before the end of the season.

I had it a draw but oh well what can we do? Canzoneri shouldnt have got knocked down. He had a good run and I dont think he would have gone any further with Leonard, Duran, Armstrong hanging around

That's because Crease hires inexperience cronies to handle his fighters. He has no management skills, and demoralizes the fighters with low wages, and abysmal promotional strategies.

I'd say it has more to do with Duran's performance, hes been on fire since the beginning of the tournament, stopping all of his opponents, same goes for Armstrong who hasn't let an opponent hear the end bell since his last defeat.

Shouldn't the IBO belt be taken out of the tournament now? If the Prizefighter guys are going to fight for a shot at the belt it makes sense if it is already in "regular" circulation.

usually, the minor titles stay throughout the tournament and are vacated at the end. Maybe Series 3 could see the winner being awarded the vacant title, PrizeFighter is Crease's baby so he can make the call.
