Very good gatekeeper type 24-15-1 and only stopped once by Lindell Holmes which is surprising as he had points losses to the likes of Barkley (sd) Benn (sd) Toney ( draw and ud ) Mcclellan, Reggie Johnson and herol graham, get the feeling he could of gone places if handled right, oh he also had a split loss over 13 rounds to Ron essett any one know the story behind it ?

I've tried in the past to find out the story behind the Holmes stoppage but can't find anything out. Williams was mainly a defensive fighter which made him difficult to look good against and hard to beat. I'm not sure he had it in him to be champ but definitely capable of giving the good fighters plenty of problems. The Essett fight ended in a draw over 12 rounds and they decided to fight an extra round to find a winner, think its happened in other fights too.
