Post by tommo100 »

how do you rate him???

despite him getting ***** by don king and being out of shape more times than I can remember I think, when in shape he was excellent,a pity he didn't,for whatever reason get a shot at a prime Tyson,i can vaguely remember his first defense after the Bruno victory was a shambles,he just didn`t want it

When in shape he could hold his own with anyone.
Problem being you never knew if he would be in shape or not.He is a favorite of mine.
Great skills but he lacked discipline

Could have been a ALL-TIME-GREAT :bag: the first time I seen him fight was against Holmes for the heavyweight title with only 15 pro fight's under his belt I expected Holmes to totally dominate him but after the fight.....wait come to think of it half way through the fight I became a BIG
Witherspoon FAN.... it looked like he did more than enough to get the decision but that's boxing  or was it Don King
anyway I loved his style especially that night boxing on his toe's switching from orthodox to southpaw dancing like a young ALI
unbelievable the way he slipped punche's standing right in front of Holmes with his chin exsposed arm's somewhere around his waist
and with precision of a surgeon turns his head at the exact time Holmes power shot's are about to land flush on his chin to make the
punch miss all together or the punch would do no damage at all by just grazing Terrible Tim chin on the way past
HE HAD IT ALL........................exept DEDICATION :witzend: :TU:
