Decent b- level fight.I predict Charr by a ud.
Neither will be confused for future world champions but both are top 15 contenders.

Neither are top 15 contenders. Leapai isn't a top 30 contender.tiny_acres wrote:Decent b- level fight.I predict Charr by a ud.

You are probably right with Lepai being lower.Horse wrote:Neither are top 15 contenders. Leapai isn't a top 30 contender.tiny_acres wrote:Decent b- level fight.I predict Charr by a ud.

So I will restate this.Charr is a top 25 contender and Lepai is a solid gate keper.
Do you feel better now?

Re: Leapai vs. Charr -- Predictions?
Leapai lost to Kevin Johnson and Malik Scott. Charr lost to Johann Duhaupas. So I think you're still overrating them by a moderate amount. I would call them gatekeepers, but I believe their world ranks to be about #40 and #50.tiny_acres wrote:You are probably right with Lepai being lower.Horse wrote:Neither are top 15 contenders. I don't hate this match-up, though. Pretty evenly matched. The winner will rise to like #30 and would be an interesting opponent for someone like David Price, Andrey Fedosov, or Christian Hammer.

Charr is in my top 25, as I thought he deserved the win against Duhaupas.Lackeos wrote:Leapai lost to Kevin Johnson and Malik Scott. Charr lost to Johann Duhaupas. I think Charr should be the clear favourite against Leapai.

It's a close to even match-up.
If I had to pick a winner I'd say Leapai.

Me too -- Leapai thrives on guys who stand in front of him and trade.
Re: Leapai vs. Charr -- Predictions?
This is make or break for Charr, and I can see him winning this on points.
Re: Leapai vs. Charr -- Predictions?
I lean towards Charr but I won't be surprised if he loses.
I like these types of match-ups; the combatants obviously aren't top fighters but they seem to be around the same level and their styles will likely mesh in an entertaining way.

Re: Leapai vs. Charr -- Predictions?
Got a fighter swinging for the fence with questionable stamina vs a stalking body puncher with a good hook. Charr is more compact and should be able to win if he can be careful early. Leapai has a nasty KTFO uppercut that could be dangerous for an easy to time stalker like Charr.
Re: Leapai vs. Charr -- Predictions?
Why is this a crap fight? They are both evenly matched and like to both swing. It should be a great rumble!cold187 wrote:crap fight, charr i think will win, leapai will gas

You're allowed to enjoy matches between guys that are not highly ranked...doesn't make it a crap fight.cold187 wrote:Gnome wrote:Why is this a crap fight? Leapai is a gutsy fighter.
Well, his gut's hanging over his waistband...
Re: Leapai vs. Charr -- Predictions?
Leapai looks to be out of shape. He has another fight scheduled in 5 weeks, so maybe he didn't have a full camp. Also, jet lag is a possibility.
