Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Sky go on about Leeds but listen to the crowd with the drums for a fight 4th on the bill.
Muts be an intimidating place to fight. Be very interesting if they can get Wilder over considering Povetkin does the business later.

I tell you what, Meroro didn't do too badly there. He landed the straight right down the middle with consistency & seemed to be frustrating Kudryashov inside.

Thanks for saying this was on BN - didn't realise

& again, Meroro made Kudryashov look slow & clumsy there. The right hand is just slotting in.
I might have given him that round.
Sod it.
19-19.

Is Kudryashov a 1 trick pony? I've never seen him box before.
Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
No but still has lot of limitation. Struggles with movement and control of distance.digzee wrote:Is Kudryashov a 1 trick pony? I've never seen him box before.

Last thirty seconds might've got that one for K.
29-28 Kudryashov.

Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Sheer power & size of K getting to M now; but a decent mover with a good jab would fvck Kudryashov up for days imo.
3-1 DK

Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Jab is painfully missing rom Kudriashs arsenal. Other guy is holding like fornicate.
Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
DK getting to him more in that round.

Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Charr-Leapai wasn't as bad as I thought it would be,both guys defence was non existent its just a pity Alex didn't throw his hands, the odd time he did,he landed, its just a pity that it was1 haymaker a round, some solid shots landed by either guy,but easy win for Manual

He would have to, as he's at least a division smaller.Other guy is holding like eff.
4-1 DK
Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Kudryshov has to be the hardest puncher at Cruiserweight surely. Be very interesting when he steps up properly. Then again his opponent before this went the distance with the former WBC champ twice and he streamrolled him.
Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Doctor is missing as well. This is Russia!
Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Not one of his better performances but Meroro was holding constantly and not willing to engage much. There aren't many standout boxers near the top of the division (Drozd may be the best) so I'm not sure who the one to beat him is.

Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Scary power from Kudryashov, just imagine if someone taught him how to box,he's as limited a fighter you'll see but my what power, fair play to Meroro,he had some nice moves and was arguably winning but that 2nd KD was like Golovkin on Macklin
Always like to see the big guys finish fights with a bodyshot, its a rare sight

Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Maybe he's been concentrating too much on his power and not the basic's in training.
Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
I think he has a decent upper body movement and a good block.Datsue wrote:& head movement. & hand & foot speed.Tarkus wrote:Jab is painfully missing rom Kudriashs arsenal.
Still I am not sold on this guy. Step him up and we will see what is he capable of. Commentator said after this win he should gain a high rating with WBO where Huck is the champ.
Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Eh, I struggle to see how Meroro was arguably winning that, though he did frustrate Kud at times.

Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
Seriously unimpressed with Kudryashov there.
Very basic and very crude. He tried a bit of upper body movement from the 2nd on but he struggled to land cleanly for most of the fight.

Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
There is plenty of talent at CW: Hernandez, Lebedev, Huck, Drozd, Dorticos, Makabu, Usyk, even the next guy Chakhkiev. I think Kudriashov is far down in the pecking order.crusader wrote:Not one of his better performances but Meroro was holding constantly and not willing to engage much. Re: Any interest in the Moscow card...?
And which of those fighters has standout boxing skill? Maybe Drozd and Usyk, though the latter hasn't fought anyone and struggled with Danie Venter.
Kud fought a guy who was there to spoil and I think he's better than what he showed.
