The problem isn't using Thai's or Phillipino's. It's the actual guys they bring over.
I can tell you there are fighter's in Thailand and Phillipines that will give our fighter's an absolute pasting. It's just a shame we see there below par fighter's that are normally 2 weight divisions smaller.
If promoters used some legitimate contacts in Thailand and Phillipines. We could have some absolutely cracking fights for our fighter's.
Like we had here in Perth a few weeks back.
Nathaniel May vs Lloyd Jerdaliza. It was an absolute cracker between 2 solid young professionals.

There is no problem bringing over Thai's.


The problem is they bring over the worst Thai fighter's. If they actually looked for a solid test for our fighter's they would get it. Thailand has a far deeper talent pool than we do and has fighter's from Welterweight down that would beat most of our fighter's.
