They will try to mess with James DeGales head and attempt to make him feel unconfident.
Truth is James sometimes looks unconfident or open to options.
He still has the street attitude albeit a more mature version.
James DeGales head is the same as his body.

Andre Dirrell head is older than his body.
Look at him he uses fakes techniques or imaginary distance stances to control.
Dirrell can hit but I don't think he can put together the long salvo's some can.
I don't know it's a close one.

Degale is reaching his peak and will steamroll Dirrel in a one sided affair.

I'm betting that the fight goes the distance at odds of 1/2, looks a fair return in view of the fact neither have been stopped before and both are good athletes. No expert knowledge behind the next point, but if there is a stoppage I feel it will be DeGale who gets it, I guess because he will be gunning for the KO as he won't want to trust to much to the judges score-cards. Looking forward to the fight.

its crazy the bias you have. First you bitch about the fact that basically only British people think its a hard fight to call, then you site a 5+ year old close decision loss as the reason Dirrell top 2 at 168 and you do it with a straight face. I fuckin guarantee if a British poster was citing a 6 year old decision loss as reason their guy was at the top of the pile you would be crying so hard about it. Maybe Dirrell is as great as you all want him to be, but personally, I prefer a guy to prove himself against elite opposition at least every 5 years or so before I start the circle jerk. I'd have more time for this type of talk if Dirrell had been the one who had stayed active and fighting top tier guys and Froch had pissed his career away, but you know what the real difference is between Dirrell and Froch? One guy proves himself fight in fight out, against all fighters and all styles, the other guy has been trading off a decision loss for the last six years and letting his 'fans' masturbate over it since then.

I'm seeing it that way too,i think Dirrells time was around the time he fought Froch and the 2 or so years after that, but he vanished at what was probably his peak,DeGale has come on leaps and bounds for me in his last 2 fights and he's just reaching his peak at the right time for this fight, hope DeGale stops him to avoid any doubt.

Well said.

If Dirrell earns a legit win today it will get him back into the equation at 168. If Degale wins his options are many.

I think that Team Dirrell might go after 3G if they win. A Groves fight (if he wins) would also be big, especially if he nutted up and went London.

If DeGale pulls this off there will be big pressure for a Froch fight, but he could also nudge Froch out of the way for 3G. Of course there is always the Groves rematch.

DeGale stops him in the final third of the fight. If not, Dirrell gets the decision.

Dirrell made the adjustment of ducking down forward when DeGale throws the left so DeGale will have to rethink the trajectory used

What a terrible 2nd half for DeGale

wasting away a perfect start... giving the fight to Dirrell... i think it's almost worse than just losing all the rounds... I thought he was gathering hsi strenght for the champs round but this is terrible

Dirrell fought the 12th like he was up 11-0 lol.

115-111 Degale. I don't see how a judge can give Dirrell the win.
