It has to be the Brook card. It pisses me off that it's another PPV but all moaning aside it is a great card.

I was intending to buy it. But then I saw some boxing on Spike, so wondering whether to watch the free stuff on principle.

Not, it's on Allegedly. Friday night / Saturday morning. I think the Khan fight being on Spike was just an internet rumour.

I tweeted Eddie Hearn to ask if he'd reduce the price of the PPV as there was freeview boxing also on Saturday.

I have yet to hear back. He must've been away from his desk. (For a week.)

Not, it's on Allegedly. Friday night / Saturday morning. I think the Khan fight being on Spike was just an internet rumour.

I saw it in a tv guide over the weekend. Think it was the sunday tv guide in the mail (disclaimer: i was visiting folk, not my paper!)

I'll definitely be watching the Spike TV freeview show. Anyone purchasing a PPV headlined by Frankie Gavin needs their head examined imo, particularly when it's the 2nd PPV within a month.

If he says no then it might be worth asking if he'll chip in to buy the beer for folk as he did for those in Boston at the weekend

Unfortunately I can't watch the Spike show as it's not on Virgin. If it had been, I would have watched that. As it is I'll probably buy the PPV and then punch myself in the face afterwards.

It's on Freeview, isn't it? Is it not built into your telly?

same as ,i can't believe that decent european fights are now PPV if people keep buying these shows then every decent fight will be PPV in the future , it's not like hearn is bringing over tim bradley or thuram it's his own fight frankie gavin .

Yeah, that's what strikes me. I'd like to see the Kell Brook fight. And would happily watch the Kevin Mitchell and Anthony Joshua ones. But if we keep paying for PPVS, they'll keep charging them. I'd just as soon watch a small hall show, with a couple of beers.

It's whether I cave, and order Brook and tape the Spike TV card.

Spike TV isn't on Virgin so sadly can't watch that one.

I agree with everyone re PPV's and that we should be boycotting but there is some really good matches on it I want to see so I'll probably end up caving.

Mind you I see it starts at 5pm I wont be getting back home till 7-8ish so might have a look at the running order see if its worth me paying.

I get and respect people who are sticking to their principles & watching the free card, but the Matchroom night is legitimately strong and I don't have much of an issue paying for the PPV. Big Selby fan & would love to see him become a World Champion on Saturday night... think Mitchell v Linares should be a belter too. Throw in another Brook defence, a genuine step-up for Joshua & Cardle v Evans (plus a couple more decent looking British title & Commonwealth title fights) and it's all set to be a quality night of boxing.

Anyone know if Cleverly is still due to be fighting on the bill? Thought his opponent would've been named by now if he is having a tune-up for Braehmer.

I haven't decided either way yet. If there wasn't a free show, I would be ordering the PPV. So I might end up caving. Unlike Bellew vs Clev, where I wouldn't have spent 15p on, I'd quite like to watch the Kell Brook card.

I'm in the same boat as you. It's not about whether I can afford it or not, because I can. But I'm really thinking I should watch the free show on principle. It deserves the viewers. The more viewers it gets, the more chance there'll be more free shows on in the future.

I'm a bit 50/50. So don't want to lord it that I aint paying, in case I change my mind at the last minute.

Gonna start with the one on TBS then have the TV on Spike later in the day and watch the PPV on the missus laptop, probably concentrating more on the PPV.

Eddie Hearn was banging on about his PPV on twitter, so just for the bants, I asked him what time the Ross Burkinshaw ring walk was.

I hope he thinks I'm genuine, and replies that it's not on his show.
