It would be a great card if it was a Sky Sports show, obviously its miles better than recent domestic PPV's but still a pisstake for this to be on PPV especially in the same month as boxing fans were expected to fork out for Mayweather/ Pac.
In fact this card being PPV was the reason I finally cancelled my sports subscription as clearly things are clearly going to get worse as more & more of Hearn's boxers are deemed superstars & so will require PPV to watch.
I'm watching the ppv card ,I've got to,its one of the best cards in years anywhere, I'm wanting to see the Burkinshaw card too though but I've got virgin,I went on to Spike website and it had a channel 5 logo so I'm hoping we get it on 5 on demand the next day
There was some mma card on spike last week so I'll see if I can get it OD now,if I can,then we should get boxing???

I haven't decided either way yet. If there wasn't a free show, I would be ordering the PPV. So I might end up caving. Unlike Bellew vs Clev, where I wouldn't have spent 15p on, I'd quite like to watch the Kell Brook card.
I'm in the same boat as you. It's not about whether I can afford it or not, because I can. But I'm really thinking I should watch the free show on principle. It deserves the viewers. The more viewers it gets, the more chance there'll be more free shows on in the future.

Exactly. To me, at least, it's a totally different kettle of fish to the farce of a PPV card that was Cleverly v Bellew. There isn't a fight I'm uninterested in on the whole bill to be fair so I really would be cutting my nose off to spite my face if I didn't order.
But then, I do agree with what you say about supporting the free show (hence why I'll always watch the Channel 5 nights) so I'm left feeling like a bit of a scab.
