Ali Raymi vs Hani Ansi

Post by TheWigwam »

The unstoppable Ali Raymi is scheduled to take on rising star Hani Ansi in a bid to capture the vacant UBO flyweight world championship, if successful, he will become a three weight world champion!

Anyone think that Raymi loses this? Ansi looks quite promising and Raymi is in a higher weight class than he normally operates at.

(This is in some jest, I know many think that this is all set up) :TU:

Raymi should be the frontrunner for 2014 Fighter Of the Year if victorious. He was a participant in boxing's most memorable and historic Quadrilogy. With defeating Ansi, he shall become a 3-time world champion in three separate weight divisions (All in the same calendar year).

We can't deny his accomplishments. Easily a first ballot Hall Of Famer.

Hani Ansi himself has had a history making year in 2014. His fight with Raymi on 24 December will mark his 11th bout of 2014.

If Ansi were to score an upset of the record-breaking knockout king, he also makes a strong case to unanimously claim the title of "2014 Fight Of The Year"

I see The Uranium-fisted Yemeni Destroyer of Worlds unifying against Chocolatito (this is just a formality, really) after winning the coveted UBO title, then moving up to KO Narvaez, then Rigo. This is all within the first quarter of 2015. After he cleans out all the divisions through 140, FMJ will be looking for a final fight to reach 50-0, but will make the fatal error of choosing Raymi as his opponent. In about 2 years time, he should be KOing the MW champion, Golovkin or whoever is the man by then. Hopefully he is able to clean out all the top guys on the way to HW quickly enough to unseat Wlad, who will be crapping his pants watching Raymi blast through whoever the top CW is in a couple years.
But here's the big twist: With the HW championship secured, Raymi will start cutting weight and clean out all of the divisions again, but in reverse order! :yay:

Oh wow, impressive. It's almost as though he didn't even exist prior to this year, and then somebody invented him to be another undefeated opponent for Raymi, and then began reporting match results for him once a month in a build-up to serve his one and only true purpose.

The good news this is fight is back on for July. And for the ubo super flyweight title nonetheless. I think it'll be Hansi's 10th fight this year. How much is a flight to Yemen?

Apparently Raymi has been killed by a bombing in yemen (probably by the IS guys).

he was not a very good boxer and more Hype than anything but still a sad end.

RIP KO machine (if it is true which I hope it's not)

What a great way to end a fictional character.

Damn... it always hits the good ones. Raymi was no terrorist. I didn't know him personally, but it seems he's been a nice guy with great humor. I hope its not true, but if... Rest in Peace, Ali.

Is there any evidence for this? Sad news if true, I'm friends with him on facebook and he is a funny guy - still don't know if the whole thing is a fabrication or not though :witzend:

I think he has criticized the IS on twitter and said that he would destroy the IS with his fists. he was probably joking but still it is quite risky to say such a Thing if you live in Yemen.

Got confirmed by his manager aswell.

Its just unclear, whether its been a ISIS planted bomb, or a Saudi Arabian airstrike. But i guess it doesn't matter, Ali isn't coming back.

Now he's sparring with Edwin Valero in heaven. R.I.P. Champ.

He should have moved to a civilized country. If he was a good boxer, that wouldn't have been problematic.

Its weird how he was wounded at May 22. Now look at the name of the arena he's fought most of his career in.

Never before has a single man had so many wins against Prince Maz, and never again.
