However, you've probably paid a similar amount to someone who bought a similar seat to the birmingham show in order to watch Frankie Gavin fight Chris Van Heerden and we know how that worked out for fans.

The people who are 'moaning' are just fed up with the way the sport is going on sky. Mismatches galore on a paid for tv channel, fights being declared as 'sold-out' as the tickets are sold onto secondary sellers Stub-hub (i hope you got your ticket at face value) etc etc.

I'm sure the majority could afford to pay for this and i'm sure everyone wants to see this fight but sometimes you have to try and make a bit of a stand even though it doesn't seem like much.

If you tolerate this then your children will be next!

That's fair enough, and the Birmingham card on its own was a disgrace - no doubt about that. They were selling face value tickets until the other day by the way...

If the Matchroom boys all pull through tomorrow we should be in for a pretty special second half of the year both on ppv and regular sky.

I didn’t pay for the Mayweather PPV as I guessed it may not be the most exciting of fights plus I wasn’t that thrilled with the undercard (start time to fight put me off also).

I’m reluctantly going to pay for this – I went to Kells last fight and the rest of the card is decent enough.

Was planning not to but me dad's just text me asking if I want to go halves so I'll be watching it now. £8 to watch Mitchell Linares, Selby Gradovich, Ryder Blackwell, Cardle Evans & Hibbert Ryan is worth it in my book. The Brook and Joshua fights are far from 50/50's but still decent contests.

Would you not rather they were on a smaller card in wales rather than this one in London? Buying this reduces the liklihood of him coming back as he'll be used to 'stack' the card

Yes, of course, but then I would be in attendance covering the show. Some pretty even fights on this card, so happy with that.

I didn't buy the Mayweather v Pacman fight simply because I knew Mayweather would win. I may buy this one because although we think we know the results, there could be some surprises in at least two of the bouts. It could turn out to be a good night, you never know.

I hate PPV as much as the next one but the more I think about it, really when you look at the match ups we are getting all in one night this is decent value. It is one of the better value PPVs in recent times.

I bought it in the end. On first glance I hated the PPV, Brook vs Gavin wasn't PPV material. but the whole card was loaded and I think overall was worth it, glad I did in the end as it was a very good night's boxing for £15.

You're missing the point to be honest. People were saying it was a decent card and they are boxing fans who like to watch the sport.

The reason people don't want to pay is because they don't like the way the tv coverage in this country is going ie anything competitive is landed with a £16.95 price tag. It's a tough choice and jas nothing to do with being tight. The only way to make a stand against anything these days is not to buy. If enough do the same maybe they will listen

Exactly good post. Admittedly I almost caved and bought a it but resisted. £15 isn't much money but out of principle I resisted. We pay enough for Sky Sports and the boxing on there is quite frankly, crap. 90/10 and most top class international fights are on allegedly.

A great card? That's debatable. Headline was a mismatch, aj blow out and 2 Title fights that should have been headlines on a standard sky card. There was nothing on that show that had an impact on world boxing.

There was no need for this to be ppv. It could and should have been split over 3 cards plus fans in Birmingham were shafted for this too.

This seems to be the new model for boxing on sky. Poor quality cards on sky sports and then anything decent moves to ppv. That's what the stand is against.
