Anyone bothered about khan v algeri

Post by stevedoc »

I never even realised that khan was for fighting tonight I thought it was next week, anyways it seems a nothing fight vs fighter no one cares about he's to small and has no punch maybe Algeria is bigger in america than here. It's now 4 years since khan last won a world title fight vs zab Judah that shocked me a little khan should be having bigger fights instead of treading water fights

Yes i think i'll get up for it. I've come to really enjoy Khan fights over the years. Hoping Khan can get the stoppage in impressive fashion to put him right in the mix for a biggun.
I think switching trainers has been great for him, but also meant that in order for the new 'Team Khan' to get comfy with Khan carrying out the new instructions that they have given him some softer match-ups. But they still haven't been horrendous match-ups. I think they're looking big after Algieri.

Read a few rumours for Khan vs Pac in Dubai, that would be great fun and maybe worth a cheeky trip.

I'll record it and give it a watch with breakfast tomorrow but I'm not overly interested in the fight. Algieri is tough with a decent jab but that's about it from what I've seen of him. Another stay safe fight for Khan. His post fight interview will be like pulling teeth with him chanting about Mayweather etc...

I love khan fights most of the time myself , I guess he's wasted a little time waiting for Floyd

Didn't realise it was tonight, thought it was tomorrow. Got a run planned for tomorrow morning and i wouldn't change my plans to watch it.

4 years since a world tie. That's a long time for someone at his level ie never considered the man at a weight or 'above' titles. He really does need something big before he gets lost in the fog

I'll be watching the card when I get up tomorrow morning, I love watching Khan,he's must see TV, he can look explosive, get himself chinned and can put on a masterclass, what's not to like?

Fair dos Algieri's a bit underwhelming but it'll be interesting to see if he can stop Chris,I reckon he will,Malignaggi style

As soon as this fight was announced I thought this is perfect for Khan. Khan will do what Pacman did and win by a landslide. Not much of a challenge for Khan, just a bit of a workout really . I will watch it but its not one of those must see matches. Khan should be fighting better opposition if he wants to take on Mayweather.

Not hugely bothered...but hopefully Amir puts in a good, strong performance and can get on with his career having waited obediently in the wings like Mayweather's personal valet/pet labrador. Time to crack-on Amir....get Algeri off your shoe and then come back to the UK and fight Brook.

I think Amir Khan wins pretty comfortably. Not a bad opponent though. Not seen much hype for the fight. The main undercard bout, Bryan Vasquez vs Javier Fortuna should be an awesome fight - really well matched pair for the vacant WBA World super featherweight title.

It's a nothing fight really,i'm always interested in who wins most fights but i won't be staying up for this, the main reason being i don't have sky or bnation, and can't be bothered with dodgy streams for a fight like this,Khan is always entertaining though, either winning or losing.

Little dance form Khan already in the first. Back on the bicycle in the second. He better keep running or he will get KOed even by a nonpuncher Algieri.
