Linares again with the cleaner punches, but it was close.

20-18

Not much happening in the 3rd. Mitchell landed a left hook that looked to be the punch of the round.

29-28 JL.

Lost stream mid round 3 but it's back now. The guy with less talent always has to work slightly harder but Mitchell looks up for the job.

Both men cut from a headbutt.

Another unexciting round where neither established a great deal.

Even round.

Didn't see that coming (neither did Linares). I'm beginning to believe Mitchell wants this more than Linares does.

Linares down, but recovered well. Came back pretty strong, Mitchell looks awful on the ropes.

10-8 round, so I have it

48-47 to Mitchell.

Cagey 6th. Not much in it. A couple of nice bodyshots from Linares, some good aggressive work from Mitchell - who just scraped it, for me.

It'll be fun to see the scores for this one.

58-56 Mitchell.

It's still up in the air, nobody can take charge of this fight. :TU:

68-65 after 7

There's a lot of blood in the 8th from Mitchell's eyes. I'm not sure if this can continue, that cut is not in a good place - that's if it's a headbutt, a punch and it'll continue.

Linares wins round 8.

77-75 Mitchell.

Good round. Mitchell caught but he comes firing back. This is a better fight than I was expecting.

If it goes the cards linares is gonna get robbed.

Don't know why he took a fight in Mitchell's hometown.

Round 9 was tough to score, could go either way. I'm giving it to Linares.

87-86 Mitchell.

Mitchell's face is horrific.

Mitchell down and it's stopped in 10.

That was stopped because of the damage rather than the knockdown, I think. Grotesque swelling.

Linares was coming on strong, he was having a good round.

A tough ask for Mitchell but fair play to him, he went forward and gave it his best shot.

Linares isn't getting a decision we all knew that already.

He's an idiot for a taking a fight that does nothing for him in his opponents backyard.

They were setting him up to hijack that belt.

1 point up at the end of the 9th. How did you see it?

One judge had Mitchell up 2, another had it even and one had Mitchell up by 6.

One judge looked a bit mental, but the other two were spot on.

IJL is refereeing, I think.

Johnson probably get stopped on his way to the ring.
