I do like the more stripped down (no pun intended) production on the PBC cards without so much extra stuff going on.

I'm a bit conflicted on the ring card girl thing, honestly. I like seeing them, but another side of me figures maybe it's not necessary to have women paraded around for drunken louts to whistle at. So I don't want to be a hypocrite, but maybe it's better off without that, ultimately.

I have some conflicted feelings too. I'm a minimalist and like it when they keep the production simple. But I land on the side of being pro ring card girl because it's honest. If it's an issue, keep it out in the open.

Boxers should get the ring card girls as part of their prize

Do you? I don't. Yes, the natural physical form, but the rest of them - the mind, the gob - you can keep 'em.

Frida is a hottie herself and could fight. I took her picture after she won gold at the 1st women's world championships in 2001.
I read she got hurt and was in a coma from her last pro fight in '13. Do you know how she is doing now?

People were just bored of 20 parallel threads about Floyd and Manny or reading your 100-line posts in many other threads and wanted to talk about something completely different.

She is doing better but she has been in quite a bad situation as I remember it. It´s been a long recovery process.

I would if half of them look like the Corona girls and walked around in bikinis not saying anything.

Keep the ring girls. One particular beauty was commited to the memory back and has served me very well when my Internet connection was down.

Can just picture her now, it would be like crashing a milk wagon into a glue factory.

I want to watch boxing, not a few seconds of a somewhat attractive woman holding a giant card over her head, especially when I can find equally or more attractive women wearing far less on what seems like every other website.

Is anyone going to really not watch a particular broadcast just because there aren't card girls? Haymon will probably save money by not having to pay them.
x2, I find it a pretty dated concept, akin to page 3 girls.
And so have the World Endurance Championship as well. They have all the cars lined up Le Mans style facing the main grandstand.
