Hope no-one bet on this one going the distance... Johnson never had a hope.
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Punches after the bell again.
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Anthony Joshua is an absolute disgrace.
He needs a point taking off him.

Has he allowed that to go on?? corner picked him up, ref didn't count!!!!
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
He was knocked out at the end of that round. Picked up by the corner, no count and it was from a punch well after the bell.

That is 3 or 4 fights in a row he has been guilty of that. Someone needs to have a word with him.expe wrote:Punches after the bell again.

This coverage on Spike TV is a bit odd. The pundits were eating fish and chips, and drinking alcohol whilst having a chat.
I have no idea who the main host is.

What is the point? Its actually bullying...KJ was a punchbag 3 years ago
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Stopped in round 2.
Well who is next, Chisora? Manuel Charr perhaps.

Re: O2 RBR May 30th
I'd say a point off would be a start. If Johnson had stayed down at the end of the first it should have been either a no contest or a DQ win for him.BigCheese1986 wrote:That is 3 or 4 fights in a row he has been guilty of that. Re: O2 RBR May 30th
I bet the people who had money on a first round stoppage will be pretty p*ssed off. Why the hell did they not stop
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Johnson looked as dangerous and menacing as Chuck Gardner did against Bruno.
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Joshua is a cheating bully.
How many times is he going to be allowed to get away with it?
He's a nasty piece of work.

Re: O2 RBR May 30th
I think you're going overboard about the punches, was hardly miles after the bell and part of a flurry. Easily understandable.
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Because Joshua cheated.JayMc wrote:I bet the people who had money on a first round stoppage will be pretty p*ssed off. Why the hell did they not stop

Don't forget boxing on Spike Tv as well tonight
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
If Joshua can get up to title level and win one he's going to be a real star.

Re: O2 RBR May 30th
That was a ridiculous set-up designed to make Joshua look special, all that nonsense about Johnson being 'unstoppable' was fvcking sickening.
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Johnson was very unambitious by his own standards.handsofstone wrote:Was this conclusion ever in doubt really,Johnson wasn't throwing, easy peasy for Joshua
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Not messing about now Hearn. Let him of the leash now. Tony Thompson , Lucas Browne, Duhaupas

So....he didn't cheat a lot?sendo wrote:I think you're going overboard about the punches, was hardly miles after the bell and part of a flurry. Easily understandable.
I mean, I didn't get to see it. But he either punched after the bell or he didn't.
Re: O2 RBR May 30th
Damn impressive by Joshua, I really thought Johnson would give him some rounds.
