It demonstrates how 'meaningful' they are. Doesn't it.bennyaha1 wrote:I just Realised almost all the Regional titles for the light heavyweight division for Asia Pacific are Vacant

Its a shame really because they are actually worth something
recently doing some training with a couple of big sanctioning bodies
If you get a regional title and defend them more frequently you are more likely to go up in rankings faster
Good example Joseph Parker he has two regional titles and hes already in top 10 in WBA and WBO and he is only at his 13th fight

To me they are worth something providing credible combatants are contesting them. Unfortunately 70 > 80% in them one of them is way over-matched, yet the winner still manages to score a rating in peak body.bennyaha1 wrote:Its a shame really because they are actually worth something

I think boxers like Joseph Parker bring credibility to the titles because he defends them every bout that he has
Re: Asia Pacific Light Heavy titles Vacant
At the end of the day there's a similarity with current FIFA situation. It all depends who's who in peak body e.g. PABA's President Yangsup Shim is WBA's vice-president, so naturally PABA's champs do better in its ratings.
I'm not directing this to any particular boxer(s) but some clearly don't deserve a rating within 15....albeit it's nothing short of roll call
