Info on Manuel Ramos

Anyone have any info on Manuel Ramos?Anyone ever see him fight?Whats he up to now?What were his strengths and weaknesses?

I have only seen him against Frazier, but I saw a guy who had a crushing right-uppercut, and who is willing to fight on the inside. He had surprise victory against Eddie Machen and Ernie Terrel.

ha! i just watched the frazier-ramos fight, ramos fought a gutsy but stupid gameplan trading left hooks with frazier like that. still ramos was a big heavyweight who had a hard punch who had a decent chin. in the first round he hit frazier with a big right uppercut which sent frazier backwards nearly flooring frazier.

He died of cancer about a year ago.

That uppercut almost broke Frazier in two! He bent back real awkward, I thought he was trying to pick up a penny off the floor.

ya it was the oddest position ever like it looked like frazier was trying to do the limbo or something and then come right back up
