Yeah Ken and Tito hate each other, I think that'll be great TV. And you know Tito will be winding Shamrock up all the time.

Danan White was over in the UK scouting talent a few weeks ago, but I don't know if they signed anybody or not.

When you first see Skelton's record. It doesn't look impressive.
However, these guys are generally forced to face constant competition.
They can't always take easy victories here and there like in boxing.
you have to see his record with a different perspective in mind.
Unlike boxing.
You got some guys, who may not have a boxer's expertise, but they compensate their lack of boxing abilites with their best weapons.
Kicks...

And these guys have no shin pads.
It sometimes only takes 1 kick..Only One, to Ko your opponent.
Keep in mind that a kick is and always will be much more powerful than any punches.

Some of these guys hit so hard that you're getting the sensation that they're attacking you with a baseball bat.

Skelton was ironically Koed twice, not with kicks but punches.
But here again. A fighter can't think like a boxer normally would. because kicks are involved and you have to do your best to avoid both attacks.

Anything can happen in kickboxing..anything..things that you'd never expect in boxing. But can work in K1 because of the kicks.
Prime example..

Kaoklai (172lbs) vs Mo (275lbs).... Kaoklai KOed the guy with a double highkick in mid air, first impact was on Mo's jaw, second impact, Kaoklai's heel touched the back of mo's head. And the rest was history.
Even though the guy only weighs 172lbs.
a single kick, can generate insane force.

Concidering all of this..Skelton did good in a rather unpredictable sport.
Which can be disappointing at times (because of the freakshows), but when talented kickers are participating anything can happen.

Lol, did anybody see that 7'2 Korean Choi Hong Man in the grand prix final a few years back against Kaoklai Kaennorsing?? 5'6 against 7'2 it was awesome!! And they had to go an extra round coz it finished a draw!! Kaennorsing is awesome though, I remember him KO'in Mighty Mo with an awesom knee to the bonce.

No shame Skelton getting chinned by LeBanner. He's a beast of a man!! Awesome power too!!

I did see that huge Korean against steroid freak monster Bob Sapp. That was weird - because both were huge they actually looked normal size next to each other - although normal size with very crude skills.

Ha ha, I saw Bob Sapp humbled against an unheralded Jap guy. They made all this fuss over Sapp, gave him a dramatic ring entrance only for the Jap to trip him up, and kick him in the head until he tapped out. He played in the NFL for the bears didnt he (Sapp)?

Yeah I saw that one E, started fast for about 20 seconds then they just spent most of the rest of the fight staring at each other, in the last round the ref gave them both a timeout so they could actually start fighting again, absolute freak show. Isn't Bobb Sapp massively marketed in Japan?

Yeah Sapp is huge is Japan and spends far more time doing promos than actually doing any training

The guy who tripped him up and then football kicked him into submission was Fujita....who is a good fighter...although not premier league. He did however nearly knock out Fedor

Sapp did have a brief NFL career but had achilles problems. He was a good college footaballer too..

Huard also scored in the fourth quarter on a seven-yard scramble. Napoleon Kaufman led the Huskies with 80 rushing yards and Huard completed 14-of-26 for 217 with two interceptions and a TD. Frank Costa completed 20-of-43 for 261 yards.

Yeah he is a big name because he is sooooo huge... He has not got much of a chin and doesn't like being hit, but because he is so big he does hurt some people. He is also very crude, though he has beaten one or two top fighters.

I think he beat Ernesto Hoost who was the top fighter at the time; and also drew with Jerome le Banner. He has been dusted off a few times including by Cro Cop.....

he beat Hoost twice.... a classic case of styles making fights... Hoost is an old man now and although he can still hang with most his lack of movement left him a sitting duck for Sapp's huge swings...

Sapps fight with Le Banner was contractually meant to be a draw if it went to distance.

Sadly no sign of the Skelton fight there....
interestingly the guy in USA shorts and moustache was ex pro Don Frye (after tons of gear).

The Clip from the Hunt fight is incredible and shows what an incredible chin Mark Hunt has... the low kicks are breaking him in half but the head kick has no affect
