Boxers Who Spat the Dummy Out.

Post by keithmoonhangover »

Which dummy went the furthest from the pram?

First nomination. Marvin Hagler spat his right out after the Leonard fight. I mean, even if you think Hagler won (I don't), it was a close fight. He threw away the early rounds and missed a load of punches, yet, in his mind, it was the swindle of the century. SPIT!

Yeh that taught Lennox a lesson didn't it,Bowe ended up eating himself out of the title and Lewis went on to earn a fortune and become on the the best ever champs, what's ironic is that Bowe could have won that fight if it happened then.

Maybe an obscure one but I remember Vic Darchinyan acting like a right helmet in a post fight interview after being stopped by Nonito Donaire. Darchinyan was wobbling all over the joint when he got stopped and complained that he was ok to continue demanding a rematch.

I thought Kessler could have been more gracious after he lost to Ward, putting the loss purely down to being butted numerous times. He was well and truely schooled that night, Ward boxed circles around him. Kessler was favourite going in and nobody, least of all the viking warrior, could have expected Ward to dish out that sort of mauling.

Butts or no butts, he got his ass handed to him that night by a far superior technician.

I don't blame him for this reaction, just makes me chuckle.

Kenny sulked for 30 years after he lost to Duran, who was miles ahead on points.

Agreed. Judah completely lost it.

Haye vs Klitchko, too. I can see how a busted little toe would hamper you in the ring, but my God does it sound like a shite excuse.

Maybe he was behind but anything can happen, Buchanan was right to be aggrieved, he lost his title due to a low blow,Duran should've been DQ'd
