ALI wrote:I thought Kessler could have been more gracious after he lost to Ward, putting the loss purely down to being butted numerous times. He was well and truely schooled that night, Ward boxed circles around him. Kessler was favourite going in and nobody, least of all the viking warrior, could have expected Ward to dish out that sort of mauling.

Butts or no butts, he got his ass handed to him that night by a far superior technician.
To be fair to Kessler, Ward headnutted him about a billion times, which must have put him out of his stride a little bit. The rerf allowed him to get away with it, of course. It in interesting that Ward won't box outside america.

Chavez Senior got a reputation for whining after results started going against him. Ring magazine used to call his JC Crybaby etc.

Remember DK and the WBC (and the WBA, to a lesser degree) after Douglas knocked out Tyson? Jeez.

Who can forget John Horne's rant - "Holyfield jumped around like a little bitch"?

Nar Groves was blowing out his arse and in trouble. Early stoppage but he went way over the top and got brought back down to earth in the rematch.

He was graceful on the night but Hamed after the Barrera loss - he couldn't have it all his way anymore and he walked.

James Toney after his whupping by Roy Jones - threatens his manager with a gun.

James Butler, who got beat on points by Richard Grant, then walked across with his arm out to shake Richard Grant's hand, who held his hand out in return. James Butler then sucker punched Richard Grant , knocking him out.

To be fair--I'm a massive fan of the man, BTW--but JMM has always been an awful loser, even getting narky after losing to Norwood iirc.

That's who came to mind first. Both him and Nacho really did whine after every Manny fight which didn't end in a KO victory. They were all close but even so I made a mental note to never go over to either of their places for board game night.

Boo hoo I don't like Lennox Lewis so I'm gonna vacate the title by putting the belt in a bin. waaaaaaaa :witzend:

Yeh that taught Lennox a lesson didn't it,Bowe ended up eating himself out of the title and Lewis went on to earn a fortune and become on the the best ever champs, what's ironic is that Bowe could have won that fight if it happened then.
Nah he wanted nothing to do with Lewis. He had already been ko by him in the ams and clearly didn't want to fight him again.

The more I think about it, the more I think this is the winner. The whole situation was completely ridiculous - Khan tweeting out a photo asking "does anyone recognise the man in the hat" was a memorable low for boxing.
