Even sadder that in all the excitement, as if winning a paper title isn't meaningless enough, they still had to announce it as the interim title

Excellent left hand from Haskins to deck Iwasa initially,a once in a lifetime shot from Lee,he deserved it he was winning the fight and the finishing was accurate

I wish 5 stopped claiming him to be world champ though, longest ringside interview ever

I would watch that interview 100 times on loop, then let a fat woman sit on my face before I'd want Spike TV to repeat the level of high octane incompetence they showed whilst covering the Ross Burkinshaw fight.

Why the hell did I bother to watch the Spike TV coverage? Every fight they showed live, they're now repeating on channel five.

Easy nights work for Ajisafe and he got a Commonwealth title out of it,Wanyonyi totally out of his depth and he looked like what he was,a SMW,surprising especially seeing as this fights been scheduled for months

Good on Bob though he done the bizz ,hopefully a European title tilt beckons

The coverage wasn't perfect tonight. That interviewer was so bad, they might as well have got somebody from the crowd to do it. Also, they didn't have a plan b for fights finishing early, so they had to take a 35 minute break at one point, then after the main event repeat literally every fight they'd shown earlier again. (Just to punish those who had been watching live all night.)

However, compared to the laddish banter of Fish, Chips and Scraps, this was huge leap forward. In fact calling it a huge leap forward is such an understatement, it was a bit like saying the moon landing was a mundane scientific achievement.

Thankfully Spike TV have realised that getting a rugby league player drunk isn't going to attract casual viewer, it's going to drive them away. I'd take amateurish interviewers that are at least trying to take the sport seriously over FCAS scraps every day of the week.

Munyai and Olusegun come to mind but I'm sure they'll be 1 or 2 more recent ones

Sure, it's a good win. And no, it's not his fault that these organizations are all corrupt and opportunistic.

The only thing I took issue with was when you said (paraphrasing) "interim or not, he is a champion of the world".

There is either A champion. or there are none. And he isn't it.

Good win for him though, definitely.
