He will have 1 or 2 easy fights at 160 and be fed to GGG.

I thought he was in route to TKOing Cotto again in rematch before the BS stoppage

Cotto looked scared for the last few rounds of that fight

and they seemed like they stopped fight to just give Cotto the win

I hope not, he retired because of that eye. Although despite his obvious durability it isn't going to be a long battle with Golovkin.

Hasn't Margarito been a finished fighter since those loaded gloves (wraps) were found before the Mosley bout?

He did absolutely nothing after that somewhat embarrassing discovery.

Yeah, I know---some of you were convinced he was on the verge of stopping Cotto in the rematch, but you have to be a real Cotto hater to believe that tripe.

Stay retired Tony. A comeback will only lead to some huge beatings, which on the second thought, you probably deserve.

I was never big on Cotto and even lesser a fan of Margacheato

But rewatch 2nd fight. It was playing out similar to the first fight- Cotto is landing some nice shots, but Antonio walks right through them all and is just on a pursuit.

Cotto looks winded and in the 9th ( and again he lands some big shots) but he's also holding a lot and even leading with a hold a times.

I believe 100% that Antonio would have at least dropped him and maybe even stopped him in the later rounds

He just had his number when they fought. Similar to Salido and Juanma

The stoppage was a complete scam The fighter wanted to continue

But it being in Nyc and HBO riding Cottos jock. The fix was in

Remember this is same commission that wouldn't stop or even help a fighter get to hospital after a brutal fight. Yet they're gung Ho to stop this fight

!?

Marg shouldn't have been given a licence to fight. He nearly lost his eye vs Pac and Cotto tee'd off on it for 9 rounds. U think the doctors that stopped it give a shit who wins? He was a few hooks away from blindness.

Margarito should stay retired. He may not even be able to make 154 even if they wanted to feed him to canelo, at middle Cotto would make easy work of him in a round or 2.
