Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
Fergusshit liar lies again, now in the title of his thread. Sanchez did NOT say that Ward is scared, what he said that Ward is not ready, because he needs tuneups.

Why people listen to the garbage spewed by the management teams of fighters prior to a fight being made, it beyond me.verballistic wrote:Who cares what Sanchez says?![]()
The guy trains GGG and anything he says is nothing more than prefight gamesmanship/trash talk & as such is easily dismissed.
Just like anything Roach said about Mayweather before the Pac fight was meaningless bullcrap designed to get in the head of a prospective future foe.

It's mostly done selectively, so they can cherry-pick whilst presenting themselves as "the objective voice of reason", mate, whilst studiously ignoring anything that goes against whatever narrative they so blatantly support.

I guess so - personally I can't really be arsed with any of it - I think my stint as a boxing reporter killed any enthusiasm for pre-fight bollox - there's just so much of it.Datsue wrote:jamesmcdonnell wrote:Why people listen to the garbage spewed by the management teams of fighters prior to a fight being made, it beyond me.verballistic wrote:Who cares what Sanchez says?![]()

I can honestly say, that I don't really support any fighter, I have fighters I admire, but it doesn't mean I'm rooting for them per se - I'm happy to see a good fight where the deserving fighter triumphs, that's enough for me.
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
Wards a piece of garbage. This week he's talking about how he has too much respect for the game to call anyone out. Too much respect for the game?! You haven't defended your title since October 2013, Andre Ward. How's that for respect for the game? If you have ANY respect for the game, you would have vacated those titles so that people who actually RESPECTED the game, could fight for them and take care of their families.
Boxing should be ashamed of themselves for not stripping this guy of the title. Talk about the inmates running the asylum. Ward even lost the battles in court and still managed to hold onto the titles. Now he thinks the Boxing world will tune into to BET to watch his fight this weekend. I don't even know where to start looking for that channel. I will read a paragraph about the fight the next morning hoping he got knocked out but that's about it.

A little strong isn't it - good lord, why are you so angry about it.
The sanctioning bodies should have stripped him whilst inactive - I'm not sure any fighter in his position would vacate - what's the incentive for him?

LOL...hilarious. thanks for that.
Not a fan of Ward as you can tell. I have been forced to listen to him commentate some of the fights and watch him critique fighters putting it all on the line while he sits in a suit for over a year and a half refusing to fight. It's pathetic. Then he has the balls to criticize GGG who's fighting anyone and everyone he can fight and getting in there 3 times a year. He's a joke. Garbage? Maybe a little strong. I hadn't had my coffee yet. Let's call him a chump then. Is that ok guys? Does that offend you?

Neither offended me to be honest - just a little perplexed by what appeared to be outright hatred.
To be fair to Ward, he's probably toeing the line his management are telling him to - I'm sure lots of fighters don't believe the horseshite they are required to spout in the name of promoting their brand.
I don't know the details of Ward's management struggles, but he's lost almost 2 years and really does need to start making the most of his talents, which are considerable. I hope we get to see him in some interesting fights very soon.
Golovkin would be a great opponent, let's hope we get to see it.
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
The thing is: Sanchez never said what is in the title of this thread, i.e. that Ward is scared of GGG. The poster is just a hater looking for any reason to pick on Golovkin and his team.verballistic wrote:Who cares what Sanchez says?![]()

Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
He is also fighting at the same time with Lemieux vs N'Dam which is promising to be significantly more entertaining fight. They will need to keep his viewership numbers secret, because they will be pathetic.caldo2025 wrote:Now he thinks the Boxing world will tune into to BET to watch his fight this weekend. When speaking with On The Ropes Boxing Radio Sanchez gave his thoughts."I think Andre right now is trying to reassess his position and reassess his direction. When he was with Goossen and could not fight Golovkin, he kept calling Golovkin out, he kept mentioning Golovkin’s name. Now that he’s with
Jay-Z and a big company, I’m surprised that they’re not targeting Golovkin like they were before,"
"When Ward couldn’t fight Golovkin, they were targeting him. Now they can fight Golovkin and they got the opportunity and people behind, he hasn’t mentioned him."
Wasn't Sanchez the very same person who was saying how GGG is ready to face Floyd or Manny at 154 but then when he was asked about GGG facing Ward he would say "Golovkin is only a MW"??
Now he's flopping and making up garbage trying to convince the world that because GGG has been feasting on Tomato Cans that now Ward who has been out of boxing for nearly 2 years or more is somehow afraid of him?? LOL, I haven't read the comments here but I can think of one person who probably agrees with this foolishness. lol
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
Oh yes a guy who has absolutely dominated the best super middleweights in the world is PETRIFIED of a 5'10 middleweight. Totally!
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
This is disinformation by fergusshit in action. You comment on something which never happened. In reality, Sanchez never said that Ward is afraid of Golovkin or anything close to that. Fergusshit is a dirty liar.diddy wrote:Oh yes a guy who has absolutely dominated the best super middleweights in the world is PETRIFIED of a 5'10 middleweight. Totally!

Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
At the 5:50 mark even GGG mentioned his focus was only on 160 http://u0ugadmjm9k.powerdreams.ru/ at the 7:47 mark Sanchez starts to stumble over his words and talk about how unfair it is for GGG to move up but you can read this link and see how they are so ready to face Floyd or Manny at 154:ikorolev wrote:Do you have a source ?KBB wrote: Wasn't Sanchez the very same person who was saying how GGG is ready to face Floyd or Manny at 154 but then when he was asked about GGG facing Ward he would say "Golovkin is only a MW"??
Now this is a year later but he isn't ready for Ward but is ready for Floyd or Manny at 154:

Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
The first of your links is from more than a year ago when Martinez was still a champion, and Golovkin wasn't considered to be the man at 160 so unanimously. Of course, Golovkin's focus was to first prove that he is the man. There are still a lot of middleweights to beat: Cotto, Canelo, Lemieux, N'Dam, Lee, Quillin, Jackobs. So, a message of GGG Team has been consistent for a while: Gennady will fight at 154 or 168 only if it is a good money fight/ppv fight. Gennady was ready to fight JCCJ, and is ready to fight Froch now.KBB wrote:At the 5:50 mark even GGG mentioned his focus was only on 160 http://u0ugadmjm9k.powerdreams.ru/ at the 7:47 mark Sanchez starts to stumble over his words and talk about how unfair it is for GGG to move up but you can read this link and see how they are so ready to face Floyd or Manny at 154:ikorolev wrote:Do you have a source ?KBB wrote: Wasn't Sanchez the very same person who was saying how GGG is ready to face Floyd or Manny at 154 but then when he was asked about GGG facing Ward he would say "Golovkin is only a MW"??

The second of your links says NOTHING about Ward.
The third of your links is what Ward is saying, so of course he pushes what makes him look good.
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
Synonym is something close in meaning, and Sanchez never said anything close to Ward being scared. Repeating lies published by others constitutes lying. That is what propaganda does: if you repeat the same lie many times, people think that it is true.
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
You constantly say you have proof- true. You constantly post opinion stating its proof- true. You constantly read the dictionary to seem more intelligent - true. Your a dickhead- true
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
What concerns me more is can GGG make the weight comfortably to fight Ward in the future and perform at the standard he has been boxing at, I'm really not so sure because Andre is a proven A list guy who can do things others can't.
If he can then I say he should move up and build this fight up over a period of time.
I'm looking forward to watching Andre tomorrow to see how he performs, the layoff was way to long.
I hope Ward doesn't become one of those boxers who has more comebacks than the McRib.

No.
That was easy.
That was easy.
Re: Is Ward Really Scared To Face GGG, Sanchez Thinks So?
i cant see why ward would be scared of any one,hes a winner great boxer he must think he can take any one, not like he is a paper champ real deal
