Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
Lara called out GGG on tv - true. Lara is with haymon- true. If the want is there from the public it will happen- true. The better opponents are at 154 regardless of whom they are contracted to- true. Ferg is an annoying moronic imbecile- true

Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
I think Bob Arum is talking codswallop when it comes to Gennady Golovkin in all truth. He has fought three of the best available Middleweights around in Martin Murray, Daniel Geale and Matthew Macklin, and has made a mess of all three.
Murray went the distance with Felix Sturm and Sergio Martinez and was on the wrong side of the judges scorecards on both occasions but wasn't totally outclassed. Golovkin patiently broke Murray down and stopped him in 11 rounds.
Macklin also went 12 with Sturm in Germany and it can be argued he was also done over on the cards but the judges. Was stopped in 11 by Martinez. Goes in with Golovkin and got sliced in half in the 3rd round.
Geale. Goes over to Germany beats Sturm on a split decision to unify the IBF And the WBA belts. Geale ditched the WBA belt when Golovkin was his mandatory. Golovkin stops Geale as well for the first time in his career caller Martin Murray.
As for the rest of the division. Billy Joe Saunders has a tune up before going in with Andy Lee for the WBO Middleweight title that takes him out until December perhaps.Quillin and Jacobs are Haymon fighters and with Golovkin being on HBO. It makes matchups between them difficult to get done which is a bugger.

Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
Isn't it obvious ? He would go down for Floyd, and Brut/Fergusshit/Other Flomos are so afraid of it.Pureist wrote: Why do you all want him to go up, what about down if he can do it easily, plenty of good fights at 154 for him, more than at 168 that's for sure
Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
Who cares what bob says, he talks as much crap as you
Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
The same reason we ask of others to move up, there are plenty of good fights for him at 168 too, stop making excuses when he's fighting a bunch of nobodies and you guys are riding him harder than Seattle Slew.Pureist wrote:Why do you all want him to go up, what about down if he can do it easily, plenty of good fights at 154 for him, more than at 168 that's for sure
Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
Who is the "we" I haven't said go up, I've said go down all along, or stay where he is, I bet if he goes up the exact same thing will happen, the "quality" fighters will sit back and wait to see how he handles the step up, I think he will handle it easily and then he will be avoided once again, if he can make LMW easily he should rattle some cages there first, he can step back up at a later dateKBB wrote:The same reason we ask of others to move up, there are plenty of good fights for him at 168 too, stop making excuses when he's fighting a bunch of nobodies and you guys are riding him harder than Seattle Slew.Pureist wrote:Why do you all want him to go up, what about down if he can do it easily, plenty of good fights at 154 for him, more than at 168 that's for sure

Sure, fighting a bunch of nobodies really scares everyone. You claim you haven't said go up or down but just look at what you are suggesting:Pureist wrote:Who is the "we" I haven't said go up, I've said go down all along, or stay where he is, I bet if he goes up the exact same thing will happen, the "quality" fighters will sit back and wait to see how he handles the step up, I think he will handle it easily and then he will be avoided once again, if he can make LMW easily he should rattle some cages there first, he can step back up at a later date
Read the garbage you are posting above, is that not suggesting what you think he would do at that weight given what I've shown in your quote?plenty of good fights at 154 for him
Sure I'm certain that you (the punchcount man) would love to see him go to 154 and KO Floyd just as the rest of the haters like you would.
Good luck with that because honestly he hasn't beaten any P4P fighter yet so he won't get that fight.
Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
. You worried about floyd, oh how cute, should the P4P#1 be fighting Oscar, Berto or GGG, what would be the most competitive fight out of those options because their the options floyd has spoken of, I think the best fight would be P4P#1 vs P4P#3 don't you, try and explain logically how Oscar or Berto would be a better fight ----- is it a coincidence that you kbb log on, then when you log off ferg logs onPureist wrote:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing ... ovkin.html true floyd has said this, true bigger fight at 154 for GGG if floyd is serious true ferg is still a moron![]()

If Arum was promoting him he would be "The greatest middleweight I ever seen"
Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
Yes, and if he couldn't make a Floyd fight, he would match GGG with Crawfordpugilisticprofessor wrote:If Arum was promoting him he would be "The greatest middleweight I ever seen"

Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
All the dumbasses, stating that ggg last 20 opponents or so, are pushovers, tomatocans or whatever, just show the rest of us that they know shit about this sport. Ignore the dickheads.
Of course k2 are doing what they they think is the best for them and their business. And fact is ggg has dealt with largely the entire boxrec top twenty mw chart. The rest are very obviously avoiding him. Financielly there is nothing to gain by beating ward, froch could earn big but smartly wont have any of it. De gale... Hmmm, ggg might as well waitvfor canelo, or the little puertorican guy. But when he is done with them, then what ? Guees the loons will come asking for lw or lhw...

Re: Arum: Golovkin fighting stumblebum after stumblebum
I read your stupid post, it's as stupid as you are. I wasn't suggesting he go down, he needs to move up, he's at 170 on fight night which indicates that it would be far easier for him to make 68 than it would be to lose weight and possibly risk losing strength, plus he has fighters willing to fight him at 68 and none at 54 other than Lara.Pureist wrote:read my post again and you might actually comprehend I stated he should go down, you must really feel stupid some times
Next time before you start saying someone is stupid Mr. Fake Trainer you should check your own stupid post first.
