Tim Bradley has got some balls wanting to up to the Middleweight division and take on the monster that is Gennady Golovkin. But he's just too small and gutsy against a powerful technician in the shape of Golovkin.

Does Timothy Bradley have courage = yes
Could Timothy Bradley beat GGG = no
Could Timothy Bradley beat GGG = no

That would be a suicidal fight for Bradley which could see him get badly hurt. Apparently after the Provodnikov fight Bradley suffered brain trauma and complained of dizziness and headaches for weeks afterwards. Heaven knows what he'd feel like after being in with a guy who hits much harder and is much bigger.

It is either huge balls or damaged brains. He got almost killed by Provo, and he wants Golovkin ???stevedoc wrote:Got to give Bradley his dues he's got big cojonesIRLangmaid25 wrote:Tim Bradley has got some balls wanting to up to the Middleweight division and take on the monster that is Gennady Golovkin. I like Tim Bradley he's a proper fighter but 160 is a bridge too far.

In this day and age with PED's and who ever knows it's not as far fetched as it seems.

WW is as heavy a division that Bradley should fight at. He's not a big guy at that weight. If we're takling about Froch vs GGG, nobody should be entertaining Bradley period.Evander wrote:I like Tim Bradley he's a proper fighter but 160 is a bridge too far.

With Bradley's ability to take a punch and GGG's punching power, there would be serious risk of a fatality if this fight happened, or at least serious and permanent brain injury.
Either Bradley just wants to get his name in the news, or he is seriously delusional, or worse brain damaged, how in god's name does he think he could stand a chance - especially as he's not a puncher.
If I were Bradley's manager I'd get a gagging order right away.

You know something, I'd give Tim a pass and actually let him take all the PEDs he wanted, it might just be the only thing that will stop a massacre

Agreed, he should be force-fed the fvcking things if this match was ever made...Bradley carries relatively little power at WW, I would genuinely fear for his life if he fought GGG at MW - especially if he tried his recent tactics of brawling instead of boxing.davie wrote:MachoTime wrote:In this day and age with PED's and who ever knows it's not as far fetched as it seems.

In fact, it would be such a mismatch that I'd refuse to watch it. Fortunately I can't see it ever happening in reality.

Klitschko also puts on his pants just like you Tim, perhaps you should fight heavy weights. What a moronic thing to say for a professional boxer. Weight divisions are for reason. Hey what weight divisions, all these divas today, they want to have fights in between weight limits to gain advantage. So sit your ass down idiot.
Re: TIMOTHY BRADLEY CALLS OUT GENNADY GOLOVKIN: "I'M NOT A COWARD...I'LL FIGHT HIM AT 160
Bradley would get decminated by 3 G. But still, I don't think that he has the right idea about moving up in weight, with Mayweather/Pacquaio/Khan/Brook/Thurman all in the mix at Welterweight, I can't say that there's too much there for him, he could lose fights against any of his combatants, and seriously damage his legacy.
Re: TIMOTHY BRADLEY CALLS OUT GENNADY GOLOVKIN: "I'M NOT A COWARD...I'LL FIGHT HIM AT 160
Sit down Bradley. You got tko'd in a round by Providnikov. GGG would destroy Tim. He needs to get his career back on track by beating Brook or Khan.
Re: TIMOTHY BRADLEY CALLS OUT GENNADY GOLOVKIN: "I'M NOT A COWARD...I'LL FIGHT HIM AT 160
2 rounds or less. Tim is wild and was all over the floor against Provodnikov and even caught a huge break from the referee that he called one knockdown a slip when he was falling all over the freaking ring. He would get killed!

Anyone's seen baby seals getting clubbered ?...

That said I don't want to slag off Bradley as he's been good for the sport but 160 is a bit much even for him.
Re: TIMOTHY BRADLEY CALLS OUT GENNADY GOLOVKIN: "I'M NOT A COWARD...I'LL FIGHT HIM AT 160
He's got a better shot at beating him than Lara or Alvarez do.
I mean, I don't think he does beat him, but it's not quite as crazy as it might sound. He can move and box. It would look more like the Monroe and Ouma fights than the Geale and Rubio ones.

Not showing fear is usuallly a sign your stupid.. altough Bradley would be one of GGGS TOUGHEST FIGHTS TO DATE.
Re: TIMOTHY BRADLEY CALLS OUT GENNADY GOLOVKIN: "I'M NOT A COWARD...I'LL FIGHT HIM AT 160
This is why i've grown to love this guy. I couldn't stand TB early on his career with his head buts and the unappealing style he had early on but the way he handled the results of that first fight with Manny and then the ridiculous heart he poured out in that Provodnikov fight made me a fan. I don't want to see him take this fight because he'll fight until they have to scrape him off the canvas.
If TB had one punch knockout power than I'd say he had a punchers chance to win and to take the fight but with the way GGG moves and cuts off the ring, there's no escape for anyone in there. Each fight he's had is like putting a lion and antelope in a closet. It's just a matter of time.
With that said, the ONLY person that I think could give GGG a run for his money is Lemieux. GGG still wins by KO but Lemieux has power in both hands that could make the early rounds exciting. What we are seeing with GGG right now is Mike Tyson circa 21-23 years old. When GGG finally loses, it will end up being just as shocking.

This isn't realistic. I doubt anyone is taking him seriously. It's kinda like Pascal calling out Wlad.
