Good odds on Ward by KO/TKO/DQ

Post by Ricky_ »

looking at about 45-50% ROI, pretty decent, Smith is not only miles out of his league but in terrible shape. This will be more 1 sided than Ward vs Dawson.

Even if Ward pulls a KO, what value of that KO of an unmotivated B-level guy will be ?

Haters all over

It was ok with euros for AA to defend against Smith not once but twice but Ward a dude that hasnt fought in damn near 2 yrs.........get the fornicate outta here.

Its ok for Froch to demand a major payday against Chavez in fornicating Vegas but not ok for Ward to fight Smith on BET to remove a little rust before going back to shutting guys like Froch out with 1 arm.

Abraham is a limited and possibly shot fighter and definitely a cherry picker lately. We don't want a recent #2 p4p to follow the same path.

Everybody including Ward and Golovkin wanted a payday against Chavez before he was humiliated by Fonfara, so not sure what you have against Froch for doing that.

The same value of GGG beating Monroe.

Monroe was highly motivated and showed a lot of heart. Looking at Smith's weight, I am afraid he isn't.

Who is talking about motivation? The question was about the value of the win, I made it clear that they're both of the same value.

GGG has mostly bums on his resume, Ward has by far the better names and opposition, it's not even remotely close.

If you don't see a difference between a win over a motivated fighter and a win over a fighter who is there just to collect a paycheck, I can't help you.

If you can't see that they are both B level fighters regardless of their motivations, I can't help you.

You gave a checkmate to yourself. Unmotivated B level boxer fights at C level at best. The same way as injured A level boxer doesn't fight at A level.

Everyone and their brother is shot on here.

Fighter is 29? Well, he's probably shot. Lost a fight? Probably shot. World title holder? Probably shot.

Abraham isn't shot at all. And he's fought the guys the WBO keep telling him he needs to in order to keep his belt. After all the whinging after he beat Smith the first time, people would have said he was avoiding him if he didn't fight him again.

"Shot" and "cherry picking", two expressions people use way too much on here.

First of all, I said "possibly", not "probably". You should know the difference.

Second of all, I suspect his team helps WBO to select who he needs to fight. Or you think that WBO is different from the other ABC orgs ?

Yes, I know the difference. The board isn't all about you, and neither was my comment.

Oh, I didn't realize you suspected something. Clearly I'm totally wrong about all of this.
