Lemieux vs N'Dam
Lemieux vs N'Dam

Of course, it is far from final, but ...
How do you see it going ? Does N'Dam have chances to avoid Lemieux bombs like he did with Stevens ? Will a winner be interested in unification with GGG or Quillin/Lee/Saunders winner ?

Wow, this is going to be a fight with some serious fireworks, many people don't even want to face N'Dam or Lemieux for that matter, both guys can crack and have good beards and not too shabby boxing skills either.ikorolev wrote:http://www.BS.com/lemieux-acce ... tle--87507?

I'm looking forward to it, I can't really call a winner but if N'Dam just sticks to boxing and not allow Lem to cut off the ring and turn this into a bombfest then it may be possible for him to pull it off.
My head tells me it's Lem by KO but my heart tells me that ND can pull it off with just sticking to boxing. Do you go with your head or your heart??

Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
I think its a even-ish fight. I think David took some L's at a young age, but I think his best two wins were in his last two fights. Hassan might have a couple more big wins than David gots, but he got massacred when he tried to take things up a level. I like David a lil more here, but I expect a competitive fight. And if Oscar can get David a belt it makes things all the more interesting when they make that fight with Saul that we all know is coming sooner or later.
Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
If David Lemieux is taking it seriously and prepares properly I'd give him the edge over N'Dam.
Lemieux is the more explosive fighter but N'Dam has proven he can box fairly well.
N'dam can box on the back foot potentially thwarting an on coming Lemieux if he plays it correctly, that said Lemieux has fairly effective pressure powers within his game.
Interesting bout which might be determined in a number of ways, I like the matchup.

I'll be rooting for Lemieux, but I think N'Dam will win by decision.

Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
If N'Dam wants to stink out the place, then he might peck and run his way to a decision.
But I suspect his very questionable chin will get tagged somewhere along the way and Lemieux will have himself a KO victory.

Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
The fight is about one month away. What are people's thoughts at this point as to how the bout will unfold?
N'dam is quite fast with his hands and feet, so it may be difficult for David to plant himself and land power shots as was the case with Stevens. Then again, unlike Stevens his power comes from both hands so I doubt that N'dam would be able to stay out of harms way simply by moving to to the left. Lemieux is also more active then Stevens and doesn't wait around for nearly as long, so I think N'dam will have to work harder to remain evasive.
N'dam doesn't have a good chin but to his credit he recovers fairly well and hasn't' been stopped despite being hurt and/or dropped several times. While David can really punch he should be mindful not to punch himself out if he hurts N'dam, because the latter could bounce back and he could find himself gassed like he was against Rubio.

Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
N'Dam will win this fight. Lemieux is too limited of a fighter to beat a guy like N'Dam. You heard it here first
Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
Odds makers think that this is an evenly matched fight. This forum gives some (but not huge) advantage to Lemieux.
Personally, I think that if N'Dam fights Lemieux like he did Quillin, he will be stopped in 3-4 rounds. If he runs like he did against Stevens, his chances are better. However, I don't think Lemieux will be following N'Dam like a puppy without throwing punches (what Stevens did for most of the fight). I see Lemieux chances as about 5:2.

Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
This should be a competitive fight,Lemieux can end this in a round though but I see it going rounds and N'Dam having success throughout, N'Dam can dig too and even though both guys have been down, its only David who's been KO'd, Hassan was down about 33 times against Quillin but always got up and he did actually have success against Quillin
I'm thinking Lemieux wins a close points decision that N'Dam and many will dispute

Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
I think N'Dam wins as well, using the same formula he did in the Stevens fight. If Lemieux is susceptible to anything, it's the jab when he's forward pressing -- that's N'Dams bread and butter.CrazyHorse wrote:N'Dam will win this fight. Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
One thing for sure : N'Dam won't visit the cavas 6 times. If Lemieux hit him big, N'Dam won't be able to risit that many Knock down like against Quilin. Lemieux is a finisher once his opponent is hurt.
Lemieux by KO 7 round.
Lemieux by KO 7 round.
Re: Lemieux vs N'Dam
He could outbox Lemieux, but he kind of has to fight perfectly, whereas Lemieux doesn't. Wide points win for N'Dam(meaning a close split decision), or stoppage somewhere along the way for Lemiuex.
If pressed, I'd go with the latter.
