I am getting terrible feedback from managers and promoters. Some threatening not to use anymore

Functions I used Boxrec for:

1. Watchlist
2. The highest climbers list on the home page (was fantastic to see how rankings were impacted after a Saturday night)
3. The graph that showed you where the closest schedule cards were to your zip code

All three are gone or I can't find them. Don't mind the look of the new site but you took away my reasons to visit daily.

Some of the changes are terrible. Boxrec used to be clean and easy to read - everything is so cluttered now. I have a feeling you've tried to placate the mobile users with the new design - but you've inadvertently made things far worse for desktop users. Very disappointed.

IMO...The previous version was considerably better. Is it possible to offer the original version too?

Not a fan of this new version. The original was great though.

The "Watchlist" was one of the best things so good to hear that is coming back.

My open opinion and suggestions:

The design looks good and modern, but somehow your eyes hurt after looking at a fighters record.

I think the W-L-D bricks and colors are far too dominant in the fighters records now. Why bricks at all at W-L-D? You almost cannot see the opponents Last 6 (very important for a quick overview) anymore, as well as the actual result of the fight. IMO the opponents name is too small in all the informations and goes under. The W-L-D of the opponent IMO is too far from the boxers name. Grids might be better. The records somehow look jam-packed and its harder now to sort out important from non-important information and to get a quick overview of a fighters career. Your eyes got a lot more to do now and i am not sure if this is only good. Just my opinion.

BTW, why not returning to the yellow/black world title system of the 4 major bodies in the records of the first boxrec system. That reduces a lot of letters in a record.
I'd like to echo the above sentiments - it's odd, but the new layout does seem to make my eyes hurt after a while (I'm a bit colour-blind, so not sure if that is a factor with the added W-L-D bricks and colours?). An option to return to the old format - or even just an option to view without the added colours - would be great.

things i miss

1. when clicking on HW seeing teh top 25 all in a net line, now i get the all time HW list with ALi
2. i cant see the red blue arrows which show climb/drop in ranking after a fight.
3. i click on HW schedule and get the entire card of the fight. i dont care about other weights

Whoever designed this needs to be fired.

The colors on the W/L/D are horrible, stick to easy to read... the bright colors on bright white with white letters are hard on the eyes.. it's much harder to read as well.

Why does the left side of the screen take up so much real estate on a fighter screen.. that needs to be gone.. put the fighter info to the left... other stuff to the right.

Terrible redesign aesthetically... it just doesn't look good.

Please do not display results on the main page! Make a link. Some of us can't watch everything right away. I just ruined a couple fights I had recorded.

In that case take the long way to them. Select Date on top of the page>results>world or location. I recommend you don't drive at same time :P

I think you should reposition "more/tape/encyclopedia/etc" functions on the same line as the entry. That added area is whats creating a chaos. It makes entries wide and breaks the view of the list.

Also "Ratings Pre/Aft" could be done in one line rather then in three.

Thank you for the suggestions, we'll have a look at that. We're looking at the record display (colours etc) as well.

Only critic is the avatars. The site looks a bit generic with all the avatar spaces just having a big question mark. Can you let us have the option of putting in our own avatars?

Glad to see the watchlist back. However, can you bring back the arrows that show movement in the rankings? I like checking the impact a result has on the rankings.

Or remove them completely. Probably a better option.

Either way. Other than that, the site changes are fine. People will adapt.

The changes are absolutely fantastic, not sure why people are complaining. The site is now extremely easy to use on mobile, so is the forum...respect, the changes were surely not easy such a huge website!

I've only jumped on this board to complain, but I will give some credit here. I've been playing around with the search options and they are greatly improved. Either the functionality has vastly improved or the search options are easier to find. Either way, great stuff. Would still love to see the up/down arrows in the rankings (best feature of the old site), but starting to get settled in with this version.
