Chisora vs Ustinov on 11th July in mancs
Just read this is on. Tough comeback for delboy, I don't see him winning to be honest.

I would have liked Chisora to fight PriceJimJim2009 wrote:Just read this is on. Tough comeback for delboy, I don't see him winning to be honest.

I think Chisora is done now, just collecting paydays.

Based on the Fury fight Chisora is shot, Ustinov is mediocre at best.
Prediction; a horrible full distance maul with few highlights.

Re: Chisora vs Ustinov on 11th July in mancs
chisora is just a european gatekeeper, can't see him last 4 rounds against Joshua, price fight would be fun, Ustinov will be a ugly fight. Browne would of been ideal

He's not been the same fighter since the Haye beating, even though he was on a five win run going into the Fury fight he'd looked vulnerable on several occasions. Fury seems to have his number I concede that but Chisora was beyond dreadful in the second fight and made Fury look FAR better than he really is.mickey1975 wrote:Obviously, because Fury schooled him, he's shot..,

If Chisora loses this I think Frank will return his contract (Chisora if he carries on will then be signed up by Steve Goodwin and feature in stirring battles with the like of Dallas, Adams, Olubamiwo, various Latvian Dwarves etc)
But if he does win what happens to the three year deal Ustinov has signed with Frank, is this null and void (can't see Frank using him again loses) ?

British, commonwealth, European, who international, WBA international, WBA intercontinental.
Derek's trophy cabinet will look quite full. Add the david haye, vitaliti klitshko and Tyson fury pay cheques to his bank balance and I'm sure Mr chisora is a very content man

Chisora was clearly not right for the Fury rematch - there were plenty of rumours beforehand that he was ill, his performance pretty much confirmed it. Not saying he would have won anyway mind you, but I'm sure it would have been closer than it was.

Chisora has looked cracked since David Haye, plenty of wobbles where once was an iron chin. He looked totally shot versus Tyson Fury. Ustinov will prod and biff his way to a turgid UD, and presumably set up a festive beating at the hands of Anthony Joshua.

No Fury 'schooled him' apparently (see comment posted earlier in thread)Boxerbeetle wrote:Chisora was clearly not right for the Fury rematch

Yes! that's what he's doing and has been for a long time.
Re: Chisora vs Ustinov on 11th July in mancs
Fury did school him to be fair, he couldn't get his shots off for more than a reason that he was ill! Fury was just to big and good for him easy first time easier second time round. Give credit where credit is due.
Re: Chisora vs Ustinov on 11th July in mancs
I cant see Chisora falling down the rankings and fighting lesser fighters.
I think his next loss, whenever it comes will be his last fight.

Re: Chisora vs Ustinov on 11th July in mancs
Might be interesting to see what Derek does without Don Charles - I think they've split and the bromance is over - but hardly a must-see and it has the strong whiff of Del Boy banking a last few quid.
Then again it is Chisora we're talking about.... who thrives on upsetting apple carts....so he might turn-up in shape, spitting nails and he gets Ustinov out of there inside three rounds. That's the magic of Del Boy!

Has there been any word of who's training him now? (hopefully someone who can do something about that dreadful overarm right he's been flapping with for years) Wonder if he'll come in a bit heavier as well, he seemed to be sturdier fighter when he carried a bit more weight, he'll need it as well against such a big lump as Ustinov.

I really have no interest in watching Chisora fight - he is now just there to pick up paydays - his 'performance' against Fury was absolutely lamentable - he has all the towering ambition of someone in a permanent vegetative state.

Festive beating eh? I bet Christmas day round the table with your family is a right old barrel of laughs.Tuan_Jim wrote:Chisora has looked cracked since David Haye, plenty of wobbles where once was an iron chin. Warren States in his most recent interview that deal boy is fighting but not Ustinov on the 11th.
