This one is a nice war between a veteran and a hungry prospect. Cano is more aggressive and he is going hard to the body. He grinded and hurt Medellin in round 2 and dropped him with 30 seconds left in round 3. Cano still in control with the higher work rate and applying pressure, but you can feel Medellin is very comfortable as he has been there before and has emerged as the victor... Very good fight going in the 5th now.
Medellin down again from a very nice and fast straight from Cano Jr. but Medellin finished the 5th with a big uppercut. In the 6th the veteran who kept a steady pace is starting to be more effective on Cano jr who is still faster but his pop and pace is dimishing. Succulent fight. You can feel Medellin can turn this one around if cano gets exhausted.
While Medellin had great moments, he started to drop his pace also and cano got his second wind in the last 2 rounds where he machine gunned Carnicero with flurries. Medellin with all his heart was trying to land big shots to keep Cano off him, but the pop wasn't there anymore.
